I have just got my IIA. I am amazed at the build quality. Everything is silky smooth and it feels very close in precision engineering terms to my Leica M3. I like the way that the outer lens group can be removed by simply unscrewing from the front.
Thanks for the review! I ordered a Konica II only a few days ago. From my memories of shooting with an Auto S2 many years ago, the Konica lens were always very nice.
Hi Mr Snrub. I'm sure you'll like it. The later Auto S2 is a very different camera with better ergonomics but the II is a far more beautiful camera. Enjoy 🤠

@@howpow If you can get hold of one, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Yashica 35 (not the Electro 35) compared to this Konica range. I have the more common f2.8 lens version, which I like, although I haven't actually used it as I've taken the lens apart to try (unsuccessfully so far) to get to the damaged aperture blades.
Hi Stephen. I love my IIa but I think the best of the bunch is the IIIa. The viewfinder/rangefinder is superb. I think it was the pinnacle of the Leica quality Konicas. Cheers, Howard 📷
Hi Socrates. I'm really not set up to do that. These videos are just done on my mobile phone in one take. I tried once to aim the phone at my monitor but wasn't happy with the results.
@@howpow Adobe Rush would allow you to do that, it's a video editor for mobile that you can find on the Google Play store, or on the Apple App store. Very intuitive to use and powerful. You'll just have to download your photos onto your phone and you'll be good to go.
