Your presentation is excellent! I always like the Konica. I do have a Konica I, same as in your video. My favorite Konica was the Black Body FTA with lens only marked in meters. Took many a photo with it. Thanks for the presentation, I wondered what the button was for, now I know.
Just got one and I love it. Only problem is that the rangefinder patch lags by a few seconds when I try to bring the focus closer than 1.5m. The focusing in fine, it's just the rangefinder that's slow....how might I get it moving smoothly again?
Hi, My dad bought this camera in Pusan Japan when he was in the Korean War. He shot over 200 Kodachrome slides during his time there. I have the camera now and would love to shoot some film soon with it. The focus ring and dials are pretty stiff. Is there anything I can do to lubricate the focus lever ? I would also love to know how to load the camera as well. Thank you.
@@japanvintagecamera8869 Thanks very much for replying. That worked. I tried both before , but had to turn it sort of over a bump, for the "O" to point in the further side of the body. (my {p}leather cover is off so i dont have any markings)
Looks like a fine camera to play with. Old cameras is my hobby. Thank you for posting this video
Thanks for explaining the collapsible lens! From all the info online, I could not figure this part out.

Nice looking camera. Especially for the time.
Thanks for the video! How do i open the back of the camera? And is it worth getting the lens cleaned?
Thank you so much for this video!😊 How do you unload Film with this camera?

Mine also does this. Thickened, old grease appears to be the culprit. I've left it well alone for now, as it does catch up eventually.
how do you unload the film

I have the same camera from my great grandpa from the Korean War. Did you ever find out how to load film inside the camera?
Hi. I just got one of these. How does the door open? I've tried quite a few things and i'm stumbled.
You need to turn the dial on the bottom of the camera so the "O" comes to the red dot.

This isn’t working for me. I tried turning it pretty hard. There’s nothing to pry on if it’s just stuck. Not sure if I can even use this camera now.
