Thank you so much! With a lower rate of acquisitions for my collection I try to aim and have pens that I really really enjoy and I can justify them like a reward for sometimes weeks at a time when im passing the 10h mark working

Hey Emy. Nice tiger. I am waiting for the day. Also, the KOP nib fits over the Conid stock feed without problem, but FNF housing is better because the feed from KOP works just a tad better. My most favorite combo is the #30 custom urushi nib on Conid. What a treat. Enjoy
Hey hey - I didnt knew you could strap a KoP nib on the conid feeder, what I was able to do on my normal Kingsize was to use the housing from conid in which I inserted a Leonardo size 8 red ebonite feeder with the Leonardo 3 stacked size 8 nib that I had :D

Fair enough! :)) For me just as well most of these gigant capacity fillers are a bit of an overkill, I once had in my namiki emperor ink for more than 8 months without being able to finish it :)) I admit tho-it was a full full barrel
Love the pen but it is very, very expensive. I would love to see a video comparing CONID to Gravitas - Ultemate Vac Ultem. They look very similar.
:D yes - conid pens dont come cheap. I doubt is that similar since one is bigger, weightier and a different filling system but it could be interesting from some perspectives
The problem with Conid pens is that they are never available! That’s why I pretty much gave up on them. Same problem with Tohma Pens, they put stacks of photos of their pen up on their instagram account, but the pens are never available. For the life of me I cannot understand these sorts of companies! It completely puts me off them, and almost makes me not want to buy from them if their pens ever do become available. No pen company it THAT special!
You have to understand the bigger picture - conid is a division of a machining company. The reason for existing was that an engineer working there by the name Francis Goosen once seen that the down time on machines when the where not working at manufacturing parts can be used to make something else, so he presented the company manager some of his designs for a pen. The agreed to make these pens when the company machines had downtime only. This is why the only viable way to have a Conid is by waiting on a batch and having it like so. It is not about being special in the first place although Conid is special - it is about understanding the story of it and why is so and not like so
@@pen.venture I hear what you are saying. With regards to Tohma Pens, they constantly promote their pens via Instagram, then tell people they are not taking any more orders until further notice. To this I ask, why then promote your pens all the time on Instagram if you are currently not taking orders?! In addition, the giant nib that many Tohma pens have has been matched by the nib on the Magna Carta Mag1000. The Mag1000 is available and ready to be posted, plus is far more reasonably priced. So I now have no reason to bother with the rude man who occasionally makes pens under the name “Tohma”. When it comes to the Conid, I am seeing many pens now based on a very similar look, that are far cheaper and probably work just as well.

costly yes but on what they offer I have to say different - all I know its that the whole subject is very subjective, it depends on who is seeking what this pen has to offer
I find Conid's pens an excellent example of engineering and they must be very efficient but to my taste they are "ugly".

I want this pen, but it is well beyond my budget. However, I think it is worth every penny!

Conid is too much engineering and less art to my taste. Overpriced in my opinion for what they deliver.
this can be a style in itself :D the lack of the flamboyancy where most of the pens we see launching are very artsy
