@@award4279 Well, i sold mine. I never had a problem but i had very low miles. Too many bad stories about the car. I then bought a 2013 740LI with the v6 engine, much more reliable engine...i will not buy a BMW with the n63 engine.
I bought a 750LI 2009 with 58000 miles. After seeing other video's I got a bit scared of all the problems mentioned with the N63, I like your video's because they are not only negative, but giving advice how to prevent and keep driving the car with lower risk. So far I drove 4000 miles, the car feels like new and did not have any problem yet. The valve stem seals are replaced 1 year ago,(previous owner) so that's a good start.
N63 runs too hot, putting the oil return lines right in the middle of the vee where the oil just bakes solid is so stupid. Two great mods are available - one is new thermostat which makes the engine run cooler and another is a new oil cooler valve mod which forces more oil through the cooler. Tradeoff is lower gas milage but only a small amount. Would probably lengthen the lifespan of all the rubber components in the engine but by the time the mods came out mine was already gone so never got to try them.
Back in 2012 i walked in brian Jessel Bmw showroom here in Vancouver Canada and this car ( 2012 Bmw 750i xdrive M sport) the price was $134.234.00. Plus tax and GST so you looking at almost at $140.000.This year in March 2020 i bought this car for $15.000 with 105123 km/miles. When I start the car while idling for about 3 to 5 minutes, when I rev the engine a puff of white smoke will come out, so I fill up the tank with 91 octane premium gas and I put 2 bottles of TKO 2000 ( fuel system tune-up) and the smoke STOPPED. since then only vapour and water coming out.
I recently bought a 13 750LI as a use when needed, mess around 3rd vehicle. The day I got it, I put it in sport+ and gunned it. Drive train malfunction flashed on screen. I came to a light, car was like chugging and sputtering. Pulled over and cut it off. Cut it back on and its been fine since. I'll stay away from sport+ and flooring it for a while.
2013 750's and down are horrendous. as soon as you see those angel eye lights run!!!! Now 2014 and up the N63 was re-engineered ...bought my 2014 new and so far the only thing bad has been the tires and the rear airbag shock
Thanks for tearing my day up pal....lol...i have a beautiful 13 750 M SPORT and now im scared to drive it....1 thing i can say bout it was it's seen 140 several times....now what do i do?....i was told to get the 535....or keep this?....hmmm...wat do u think?
@@hassantalib3426 mine has seen 140 on the regular too!!! I35 port lavaca to corpus baybeh every weekend lol 535 is trash....once you go 7 series youll never down grade...trade up to 2015....low milage....super cheap right now and it is perfected....the last F02

I have one of these cars :) I noticed a small amount of oil in the main coolant tank. No white smoke out the tail pipe.. I changed the oil and it’s very clean and no water . Do you have an idea where to look first ?
my LED halo is malfunctioning some times i get a error message and sometimes i dont i figured its the module going bad for the led lights looks like a straight forward simple repair
There was a video you had uploaded I can’t find it. In the video you removed the oil cap and placed your hand over it while wearing a glove. And you were explaining what it means when there’s suction in the crankcase and what it means when it’s air being blown out. That’s one way of determining to see if the engine is strong or not. Please can you send the link to that video it has very important information.

Do you have any thoughts on modifying the stock PCV valves to incorporate oil catch cans for the N63?
Yall need to be very careful with 7 series made before 2013. These cars are horror stories if you haven't read about the care package for the N63 you should. Just about everything in the N63. 2009-2013
At 1500/2000 rpm the whole car shakes, no engine light. Sometime it says drive slow…. If you go above 2000 rpm an drive like 230 km/h (Germany) the car is absolutely fine. Its a 760 li v12 with 544 ps 2010
It seems to me bmw is problematic car .. don’t hear to much about Mercedes..just a solid car ..no issues ..especially no engine problems..and plus you get to enjoy it everyday ..instead of a weekend car ..if I going to pay good money for a car ..I want to drive it daily .. not a weekend thing and don’t have to worry about dash light coming on .. why do I want to pay for something like that ,.

You probably just had a misfire and the car put itself in limp mode to prevent damage
Bottom line: This car is too damn complicated for it own good. I LOVE 💘this car but I absolutely hate this POS at the same time.😡🤬🤬🤬🤬 😭

Yes 2013-2015 models got the n63tu update. The update started in mid 2012 for the cars made in 2013-2015
