I love your videos, but I purchased a report and was typed as TR rounded mixed - which seems correct to me - and to wear pastels … But here you say pastels wash out TRs, which is exactly how I think they make look, washed out. So which is it?
it depends on your coloring as TR, if they wash you out, go for bright colors instead. Definitely avoid heavy earth tones or dark colors head to toe.
I was typed as TR but I have a long vertical line, people never guess I’m only 5’3”, which is confusing because I thought TRs are supposed to have a short vertical line.
Thank you for such profound advice!! I’m wondering how the use of color works as a rounded mixed & soft summer since my color palette doesn’t have very bright & dark colors. Should I just use the brightest and darkest colors of my palette?
On the other hand, I think my primary essence is ethereal, so I’ve been wearing a lot of soft white and pastels from my palette, but I’ve noticed that they sometimes wash me out (not color season wise but body type wise). What would you do if the body type clashes with the essence(s)? Which one should I focus on especially with the colors?
And does anybody else struggle with being a difficult case? 😂😩❤
Not necessarily a TR here-but I would try adding some jewelry in brighter colors that fit your season to your lighter outfits. That and brighter or bolder makeup could look great! Also, I feel like shoes and bags really do a lot to an outfit, and can tie everything together if you style it right 😊 hope this helps!

Hi Merriam would you still recommend to wear cropped pants to a rounded type with thick ankles?
