Glad I came across this video. I used to live with my boyfriend when I had just turned Christian. I eventually moved out because we both relapsed (we were in recovery) and it did not go well for me. We are both doing better now and are going to church. I've been repenting and feel so bad of everything that happened. How can I call myself a Christian if I don't have self-control? That's why I did not move back in. But we both talked about getting married, we sincerely want to be with each other. So, I am going to continue to have self control and listen to the Word of God. I am afraid of going to hell. Problem is that he is not Christian. He says he believed in Christ and he grew up Catholic. Although he does not practice it nor prays. So, I've been guiding him by introducing him to other men in the church and pray for him. I can't lose hope. Prayers and advices will be well received. Thank you for sharing scriptures on this topic.
Amen! A sad trend among professing believers. Can you comment (or add another teaching video?) regarding those who are engaged and living together but swear nothing is happening physically and that they are staying pure? (We believe it is still wrong, but would love to hear your insights and wisdom regarding that caveat.) Thank you for your excellent, direct teaching!
I cohabited with my girlfriend before I gave my life to Christ. After having two children, i visited the parents and we are planning to marry. We both got baptized and we want to marry. Please let us know more what to do biblically.
“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?” Romans 6:1-2 ESV If y’all haven’t already, I would get married.
Two choices; Get married this week at the courts and have wedding ceremony later. As long as you continue to live together before married is not wise and not setting an example to the world and other believers who are thinking about doing it. Your life is suppose to be holy testimony. If you don't wish to get married with legal document and ceremony later but wish but want to do all at same time. Then do what is right now ans separate into to different living places to avoid sexual temptation but even just to set the example to others on how you should have done it right to begin with. You can live apart in different house at at parenst house or friend for a year and still plan wedding from there.
How would you approach a situation where there is a gay women living with straight men in the church? It makes me struggle and need solid answers. Thank you
Can Christians live together before marriage? No!! It's in direct violation of scripture. Scripture is NOT silent about fornication. It's sin - call it what it is.
Bro what? It is not AT ALL a sin to live with your partner before marriage as long as there is no sexual relations. The bible never said living with someone is a sin.
Our new pastor said its a sin to live together is a sin but had nothing to back it up the only thing he had no sex before marriage thats a different level. But u both have your each room i don't see it as a problem not less say if she or he is just a room mate nothing more so that's a sin too?
Yes, sex before marriage is a sin and the appearance of evil is a sin example if you live together but you’re not having sex, but the world thinks you’re having sex that’s a sin…. But where in the Bible does it say living together before marriage is a sin

Like a lot of preachers, he's teaching the right message, but his reasoning is all screwed up. For instance, a car does not appreciate when it is test-driven. It depreciates when it is purchased. He tells us all the things we need to know about marriage, but none of it directly addresses the Biblical support for why we shouldn't cohabitate. I don't need his opinion. I NEED SCRIPTURE.

Leave him! You don't want a demon next to you at night
Don't do it because you are afraid of going to hell, do it because the love you have for christ is more than the love you have for your man.

When the flesh deceives you, you will sin.
Yes. The flesh is weak.

The bible said fornication is sin, not cohabiting.
@@kuntakinte1416 there is no cohabitation without fornication. Lets be real
@ichbinschlechtinclashroyal6833 Yes, there is. It's called self-control.
@@kuntakinte1416 No human being has "self control" when sexual tension between a couple arises and you know it very well. Don't be in denial

No! No! No! It's fornication before marriage. Come on now! It's common sense
Those without the Holy Spirit don’t understand these Biblical truths.
Living under the same roof as your partner isn't a sin at all.
Sex is different than sharing an address. Your reasoning is basically all roommates have sex.😂😂
It can definetly reveal things about your spouse

Living together is the deep trench of sin, it’s very macabre and invites the devil to your dinner table

Living together without any sexual interactions is it is a sin ? Please reply
No, it’s not. Nothing in the Bible comments on cohabitation alone.
