Forward Thinking Mike. You're the ONLY 1 who does these Night Time Videos on the vehicles which is So Important. You also have a camera with night vision.👍
Hi Mike, You've done a video so many reviewers don't and I thank you for that... I love this particular video for how a vehicle looks at night.. the lighting and all...
Dont get me wrong its the fastest suv but i wont buying just because it doesnt have it like the jaguar f pace and bmw even Mercedes have it come on now people want to feel UFOish when we drive now lol.
Yes I couldn’t agree more like ? Idk some about the lights just doesn’t attract me it’s to dual bright blue with white should be something else like more elegance if you are going to pay more then 30k heck! My 2011 terrain has better ambient lighting
Congrats on your JGC HA! I am considering a Trailhawk or HA..... Does the interior of the High Altitude have blue lighting as well or is it yellow/orange?
I’ve owned a 2018 Grand Cherokee Limited for three months now. It’s the same model in this video. It’s an impressive Jeep. I found one thing interesting about the outside mirrors. It has auto dimming mirrors, except the passenger side doesn’t dim. It wasn’t included with this model.
Maybe you can answer my question about the ambient lighting. Does your car have the ambient lighting in the door storage pockets and the floor like shown in the video as well as the doorhandles? If so do they stay on while driving or are they only on while you’re entering and exiting. Thank you!
@@Velo1010 thank you so much I really appreciate it I was told they did not stay on but I’m happy to hear that they do. I put the deposit down and I’m waiting for some money to be transferred out of my stock account into my checking account before I finalize the purchase so I was hoping to get that question answered. Thanks again! I really appreciate it!!
Thank you Mike for the review at night. Is there any difference from the 2016 to the 2018? And what kind of price difference would there be? Thanks again. Roger
could you pleeeeeaaaase tell me how to lighten up the instrument cluster display right behind the steering wheel where it shows your gas gauge? I could not find this info anywhere (manuals, internet, etc). The whole panel is well lit EXCEPT the bottom line where the gas gauge is. Plz, help!!! Thx
Just bought a 2019 Limited X. Awesome vehicle. Just one question on lighting...maybe an issue that also occurs in previous year models: When you have the interior gauge lighting on the brightest setting, the interior door handle and door cup holder lights (blue ones) turn off. Is that by design? Anyone else notice this?
That’s my question also. It would be nice to see where the controls are located. I’ve looked in the manual and wasn’t able to determine where the dimmer control is located.
I wish someone would go over the light controls and their cluster panel counterpart. Makes no sense to me when the parking lights are on and then the headlights, how can you tell?
Anyone else think it would kill the price to add LED bulbs to the map lights, back seat lights and rear cargo lights?!? A Trailhawk which is what I want has the same lights as this overland. The price is just over $54,000 for the Trailhawk how I have it built with options. What’s another few bucks for LED lights?
Unlike the Quadra-Drive II, the Quadra-Trac II has a two-speed transfer case, which Jeep says it can deliver up to 100% of available torque to the axle with the most traction. This is done using sensors in each wheel to check for grip. It comes with a Selec-Trac dial with five operating modes. Its 4WD-Low range is of 2.72:1, and has a neutral function for flat towing. It works with four-wheel brake traction control and a brake lock differential. Out of the two systems available for the Grand Cherokee, the Quadra-Trac II is the most capable version in off-road driving.
good morning, what going on? I like your reviews but I am yet to see the grand cherokee review of year 2020. when are you going to bring out your wonderful signature of intro: where the jeep rolls over a camera and you can see the underneath of the jeep. Great intro
Low beams don't seem to go far. This needs better headlights. To be fair, a lot of SUVs don't get the plus rating now since NHTSA added the headlights test in 2017.
+Robert Mocarski No but I personally know hundreds of people that drive them everyday... not to mention the people commenting on TH-cam about their experiences.
Some of the best lights in the industry but the they had to put a bulb light in the back, makes no sense since they have several other models that are fully LED. Those things make me crazy and is enough to keep me from buying one (believe it or not).
I agree, LED lights in the back are super important, especially if you're stuck on the side of the road. I feel like Jeep made a shortcut when doing that to save money, but it's kind of dumb.

Absolutely love that you do these reviews at night. I already know what the car looks like in the day. This really shows it off.
Nice to see the night mode video which is rare. Thanks 👍

Jeep should consider real ambient lighting. Like under the trims like BMW does and on the dashboard trim too

@@og_styles1090 exactly, at this price point and coming from a “luxury” brand I would be expecting much more
@@Damo_LowEnd_or_NoEnd I mean when you’re paying that amount of money at least makes feel special when I’m driving at night lol 😭😭😭
you are amazing brother
Great video.👍🏽 just bought the GC high altitude a week ago and the interior puts my previous vehicle-Mercedes that costed way more to shame.
Congrats on your JGC HA! I am considering a Trailhawk or HA..... Does the interior of the High Altitude have blue lighting as well or is it yellow/orange?
This is helpful info to me. On test drive unable to see lighting. Thanks
I have the 2018 jeep grand Cherokee limited is there a way to have fog lights on without headlights???
Thanks Mike for the light show, very cool. #OGDetailer
Can you do the altitude review in day

Sounds like there is a bulb that needs to be replaced.
@@MikesCarInfo Thx! Will check at the shop
Could my 2018 grand Cherokee trail hawk halogen be converted to HID easily?
Honestly This is like my dream car. But I want the Overland white with a black leather interior
As always Mike, great job.

How did you change the colors on cup holder??

I had a 2014 fully loaded overland and yes it had the same thing.
Awesome so how do you get the aluminated lights on the odometer?

Could you possibly do a g80 at night?
bro is 2018 limited is same headlight?
Question: What is the main difference(s) between jeep quadra-trac ii and quadra-drive 4x4 systems? Thanks
Quadra Drive has a locking rear differential.
Where. Is the button?? Adjust the lights In the car?
MikesCarInfo Great review Mike! Can you please do a "2018 Chevy Traverse LT Leather" (that specific trim level) review?
if $30000 very good

I have a 2015 with the same transmission and have had numerous issues. The transmission had to be replaced at 12,000 miles. Buyer beware!
+Robert Mocarski Here is a link for people to learn the full context of this transmission. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZF_8HP_transmission
MikesCarInfo Have you ever owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
+Robert Mocarski No but I personally know hundreds of people that drive them everyday... not to mention the people commenting on TH-cam about their experiences.
I wonder how would the 2017 and 2018 models hold up? I am considering to buy one but man reliability could be a problem
I own a 2018 - bought it in November. I am currently at 5k miles and no problems thus far!
You forgot backseat ceiling and floor lighting
try watching at 4:18, he literally go & shows back seat.

Yea i have a 2017 Grand cherokee, and i want to change the tail and reverse lights to LED, but idk if that voids the maxcare warrenty
I replaced my turn signal with LED, night and day difference, go for it! Very easy to do :)
The old gear is much more, beautiful than this one.
Ha, no two tires have the same pressure.
Some manufacturers disable tire pressure readings until the car is driving or has been driven a certain distance.
v6 sounds like a v8
