- Hi everybody this time we play all 32 presets of the new Behringer JT4000 micro.
The Behringer JT-4000 MICRO is a portable 4-voice hybrid synthesizer that offers unparalleled sound possibilities. With its two analog modeling oscillators per voice and authentic 12-bit DAC, this synthesizer reproduces the warm and natural sound of the 90s classic virtual analog engine, including the iconic Supersaw waveform that made it a legend in techno and trance. Featuring an additional 2-operator FM engine, the JT-4000 MICRO allows for even greater sonic exploration and creativity.
The JT-4000 MICRO's analog filter further enhances the sound, providing rich and expressive tones. With 16 touch-sensitive keys, this synthesizer offers great playability, allowing you to express yourself fully. Sounds sooo good, wondering if they’ll release a ‘Mini’ version as opposed to this ‘Micro’ - Midi port / more controls as the Pro VS Mini.
Yeah I'm waiting for the pro vs to be in stock. I eventually want to go dawless so 5 pin or at least TRS is essential. I'm so sick of fighting the latency unique to every devices usb midi implementations

Looking at the manual it seems pretty interesting with the CCs - could be a good candidate for controlling from my Roland AE-30 wind synth.
Definitely should work just map your midi controller
@@takethefearoutthegear6229 someone has reported using a wind synth with the breath control sent via the filter cutoff CC. That's the same way I control my MicroFreak. With my MPC as an intermediary it's looking good 👍

It's like a Raspberry Pi with a LCD screen and touch strip, but it does sound nice! I wish it had an old-school midi in port. Is there an adapter?

There are some adapters on the market but apparently not all devices play nice. I'm hoping my MPC One will suffice as an "adapter" because I don't go near a computer until final mixdown!
Nothing in common with a raspberry, this is an hybrid synthesizer with a real 12 bit DAC, and an Analog filter, this is the reason why it sounds so good and warm

There should be somesort of editor for PC/MAC and if the UI would kinda match or look like a JP-80x0 UI, that would be very cool. Or is there already?

What DAW are you using? There is an editor program/plugin/VST on Synthmania which is a German website. For 2 Euros you can get it
No Sand Storm? How they gonna skip the most famous preset ever? Maybe it needs all 8 voices.

Seems like there's about zero modulation except maybe an LFO for filter and pitch, the patches were very barebones and not a lot of modulation going on, but the base sounds this thing makes are still very beefy and usable.
Seems like a great portable workhorse for when you need simple but beefy bread and butter synth sounds.
Sounds like crap... I can't wait to get my hands on it. :D Unfortunately still 8-10 weeks is the estimated delivery time here... :\

Sounds like a £50 synth. Which means it's ok quality but this is going to be forgotten about within a year.
Not at all, a 50£ synth until this existed was a Monotron, super minimal 1 OSC, Mono etc, no MIDI no USB. And as minimal as it is, it is still not forgotten. It is obvious they raised the bar very high with this one, similar specs required spending several hundred, and more than this the JT-4000 has a sweet character of its own thanks to the 12bit DAC and analog filter. No brainer and must have for me.
