I'm so glad that I found z-auto before I got line lock installed, and is one of my favorite mods so far. Although I got the burnbox for my Challenger, which is pretty much the same thing and isn't much difference between them. When I was looking for a system, I was thinking about getting one from Hurst and was the traditional type where you tap into the braking system. With a 392 you can burnout without the linelock. Just deactivate the traction control and mash the loud button. But the LL does come in handy for drag tracks.
The real benefit of linelock is that you aren't burning through your rear pads and rotors.
Im going to definitely try this on my RT charger
I have read to do a full reboot. Once count down is done. Turn car off. Disconnect the radio fuse for about one minute. This will reset the radio. Go to the car and turn to run then back off again. Get out shut door. Set alarm. Walk away for about one minute key in hand. Then go back and all should work perfectly. I am going to make a video showing it later tonight.
Definitely getting this for my 2018 SXT Plus. Also, kudos to you on the wearing seatbelt comment (and yes, the ding is annoying when only going from driveway to driveway to visit parents, etc)
How did it work on sxt plus
My new Challenger Scatpack Widebody came with everything in the SRT pages and drive modes that the Hellcat Widebody has by default.
Dont overuse the fog lights especially in the day it looks cool but it will burn the plastic
I absolutely love the 2015 and up challengers. I just got a job paying 16.68/hr. Minimum wage here is 7.25/hr. I'm 19 myself and I think I'm going to get a 2015 rt. I don't have a credit score yet. I'm going to pay rent to my parents and live with them for awhile so I shouldn't be going broke on rent alone. What would be the best possible way for me to go about buying one of these and being able to afford the vehicle, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Save up at least 2-3K for a down payment.
Late for a reply but also expect high interest rates on the loan. Best way would be putting a large (like 5,000) down payment down. That's what I did at least.

I would recommend the 6.4 it’s a beast
I love their products, and have a burnbox in my Challenger SRT8. Is so much better than holding the brakes, and is one of the bestproducts on the market to replace the old school hydraulic systems.

Just got one to mainly add paddle shifters but adding the performance pages is super cool too. Other then that I'll probably sell it don't see a reason to keep it for line lock or the light show

I have a sxt plus with the 8.4 uconnect and super trak pack already but I changed the engine to 6.4 will this work for me?
Shift light is for only manual transmission doesn't matter if it's v6 or v8

Not true I have a 2018 scatpack 8speed auto with shift light on driving with your car in manual mode the gauges flash at you once you hit 6k Rpm
Can you change the settings so it can turn off the V6 feature. Seems like it's not needed with only 17mpg.

This is probably late but you need to install the double bypass for tazer in 2018+ mopar models

Street Shaker 702 when I bought mine I asked about the Z automotive taser and they said you can use it openly don't have to hide anything it will not void anything at all
I have the Tazer on my 2015 scatpack and when I went to the dealer for mayor repair on my engine ( new block )i just disconnect the tazer from the ECM still having the track mode active and some other features, they didn't say anything about it,still covered the repair under warranty.TAZER WILL NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY!

V6 and line locks not just for burnouts but digs it doesn’t add any hp or torque and turn sport mode on it’s a new track mode option but prolly isn’t supported in v6 and you don’t want you’re wheels to spin 😅😂 buy some slicks but nice vid

I have T/A "392". I'm thinking of getting a Diablo with a i tuner and purchasing a Jay Greene with a Fastman TB. Would this enhance the Jay Greene or would add an extra un-needed factor?

@@isaacbyrd8504 you use the instrument cluster to do initial settings. So if you choose SRT and get the accessory steering wheel buttons you can program them in drive mode to do line lock, launch, race mode, etc. I also updated mine to 5 click windows up/down from fob. I get all performance and gauge readings on dash cluster using steering wheel controls to access. I just can't access the custom drive or other interactive screens on the radio itself.

Is there a way to keep line lock engaged, so ur only using front breaks? Then u could drive w both feet and drift a lot better in the v6
Do you even know what you’re talking about, Do you even know anything about cars? Line lock engages your front brakes so you can heat up your slicks without burning up your rear brakes, How are you going to drift with your front brakes locked up? You sound like someone who is still young and wants to go out and have fun but your pockets aren’t deep enough yet, What you really need is more power!
Just get yo money up and get a v8

hi, on my SXT Plus (2016) also sports does also not work after turning on SRT pages (i think) have to check it, did the setting change have effect on behavior ? or is it just better to remove SRT again and use sport mode ? btw i did enable the pages by using the AlphaOBD app
If you didn’t figured it out yet, you can set the performance page and then set sport mood from the screen manually.. that is the only disadvantage of putting SRT mood, but still a lot of other cool features

Cool video very informative, what does the red key and black key mode do?i have a sxt and switch it to red key.i don't notice anything different.
I’m pretty sure it’s for the hellcat which has the red key for 707 hp and black for 500. Maybe it’s an option to always set it to 707 hp even with the black key but I dunno.
will this work on a 2021 Chrysler 300S w/V8? i wasn't aware this car comes with no Performance pages, or performance controls.. it's really frustrating! cus i was really used to having it on my R/T. i could understand them not putting it on the 300's with v6, but the V8's should have all that imo. also on the gauge cluster, there's no reading for Air-intake temperature, that sucks! cus i watched that pretty often on my R/T, having a JLT intake and all. thanks

Have you noticed with the SRT mode on that the temperature gauge runs low while driving with it on?
Side note, I think you need to have an active subscription to enable the performance pages... at least thats what it tells me for my 2015 SXT
I don't know, I turned SRT mode off because my sport button wouldn't work, I was only able to activate it through the touchscreen.
Might need an active subscription, I don't know but the performance pages work for me right now at least.

Yes but the SRT will turn off the sports button on the sxt . At least it did on mine.

Not on the 5 inch screen, I’m unsure on the newer base 7 inch screen. If anything I would just go to infotainment.com and look into buying the 8.4 inch screen.

ELIT3 T3CH That eco-mode feature can only be turned on scat packs I believe, not on RT's or SXT's. But I'll give it a try tomorrow and see if the feature works.

There's a video from JRTProductions where he has eco mode on his RT. I believe it might work for the SXT, I just have never tried it.

Your challenger doesn’t have different steering modes? My 2015 SXT plus does.
Mine has the 3 different steering modes and sport mode but nothing else.
interesting, did your paddles come standard with your sxt?
I own a challenger and the paddles are black but mine came with a box that had similar paddles to his. The video maker didn't get the other set of paddles so he ordered them through the dealership but they ordered the wrong type.

252 it does not have to stay plugged in, you can plug it in, do what you want to do with it, and un plug it
During setup the tazer is "married" to the car so they are not interchangeable without buying an unlock key

(Yes, I know he worked hard for his car. And I like this guy and his work ethics. So this has nothing to do with him. He was so excited describing these features - like it was Christmas. And that's awesome he shares it with us! Thanks).
But all I could think about while he was describing his awesome car, was that my car gets me from point A, to point B, AND THAT'S IT! There's no screens whatsoever. So no phone, TV, or DVD player. No extra lights, bells, or whistles. (Besides a Check Engine Light). No "performance package", no fancy pants shift paddles, or I'm-too-good-to-look-in-a-mirror backup camera. No super/duper charger, no hold-my-front-brakes-only-for-me Line Lock so I can burn my tires to shreds and pollute the air even easier, no remote/fart start, or even key fob! I'm in the dark ages of the automotive era. No, I don't have to wind a crank to start my car, but the stupid CD player won't work more than about 3 songs, before it starts stuttering and driving you crazy. So, can we please have a moment of silence for all of us unfortunate suckers who art not yet Challenger worthy (and our cars are just transportation). Amen. lol. Yes. Now, on to our regularly scheduled programming.

Buggy toy, great for killing your battery and messing up your EVIC etc. Sold mine I had from my 300.
Ive had mine over a year with no issues. The instructions does say that if you change this one setting it will have a chance of draining your battery by living your EVIC running. Read.

I'm considering it mainly for the wheel size converter and air pressure delete. My winter wheels and tires are a different circumference without sensors, so my speedometer was slightly off all winter and I had to manually switch off the tire pressure warnings at every startup. The other features are a bonus.
Watching you spam click and things going on and off then saying it doesn't work with yours is infuriating...
