Can you comment on choosing organic products and/or pasture raised eggs instead of conventional? I find there to be a lot of food fear around the conventional options and pressure to choose those “better” options. What about those who talk about the standard American diet causing so much inflammation and disease? As a registered dietitian I’m very interested in your take on that. 😊
This would be interesting. However, I choose many things like grass fed, pasture raised, and organic for environmental and ethical issues. I am not ready to go vegetarian let alone vegan - but looking a cow in the eye ... I have to at least think this cow had a chance to roam a pasture and eat grass etc. I also find things like local organic cucumbers actually have more flavor than conventional. It is more costly, but I think it's worth it if you can just to let the dollar speak in that way. There are also the lists about the "dirty dozen"- that some foods the benefits of organic are more noticeable than with others.

I'm so glad you're using it! It really depends on the situation honestly. If my body is craving some fruits or veggies, I'll have that with some pizza. If not, I'll have something else as a side!!
No Aldi in Colorado! Aldi is about the only thing I miss from my small Midwest home town. It took DECADES for Trader Joes to expand here, so not much hope for Aldi. :(
I'm a brand loyalist when it comes to plain yogurt. I ONLY get Fage. Aldi brand isn't thick enough. I prefer the 5℅, but the tub of 0℅ at Costco is such a good deal that the practical thing is to add some fat to it (like hemp hearts and granola)
