I wish people would stop saying that this guitar has good bass and lower mids response, it doesn't. It does have a balanced response though. I own one and I like it but I use exclusively for practice and song writing, not for recording or for important gigs. But it's built very well and it's very well supported. It's worth the price.

I just bought one last month. I wouldn't say that a solid top acoustic with electronics is a beginner guitar, but it can be.
