C0UNTERCLOCKWISE 2Stroke's are able to turbo. wouldn't be really clever though
it does have an exhaust stroke. all ICE engines have an exhaust stroke. it just works different.

JorrisvdBerg but it's a city solution, so you wouldn't need more than 30km
There are Electric Bikes that can be folded similarly and that takes less space in the boot as well. I don't know if charging them through the cars electrical system would prove effective, but that would be the thing. No more traffic jams, just take on of many free parking spaces outside city center and ride in on your bike. The bikes in my country usually have electrical assist to 25/35 km/h, other countries might do better so you might not even shed a tear of sweat on the way in. And you can take it inside!

Fuelfoxx they're two stroke to begin with, they don't require premix though. A 100cc properly ported and piped would be interesting to see swapped on to one of those bikes.

Who was the guy that raised his hand at that board meeting and said: "You know what? What if we made an even tinier bike and put it in the back of our tiny car?". Our old Civic retuned w upgraded ignition etc stage 1 parts got 51mpg hwy & it was enjoyably sporty .

Yes. I have driven a $100,000 car. I've driven an $800,000 car as well. But you're A) CONSTANTLY watched by A LOT of people, so you can't push the car, and B) It's much too powerful for our roads, so you can never really push it to it's limits.
My car cost $350 and I have had it for 7 years and love winding the piss out of it. Keeps up with 90 MPH traffic on the interstate no problem.
Me and my friend in NZ had several honda cities including a Turbo II and several of the E variant, and we were always on the look out for a moto comp to finish it off. This brings back great memories, thanks MCM!

anyone seen the anime "You're Under Arrest!" ? there were 2 main characters. One had a Honda Today G, and the other had the Motocompo.
Was my first thought, kinda surprised/disappointed that the anime didn't get a shout-out.
That was so good, the Motocompo fitting in the back of the Today. I don't think you'd be able to ride the Motocompo up stairs though...

Yeah, and so did Miyuki's Today. Can't remember if it was the anime or the manga but she mentioned that it started as a 650cc meter maid's car but now had a 750cc big bore kit, turbo and nitrous among other mods she did to it. It's fair to assume that if Miyuki put that much work into her Today, the Motocompo wouldn't be stock either.
MrCorvairGuy yeah, still doesn't explain how her MotoCompo can keep up with a Mini ERA Turbo and a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo. Not that those two cars are insanely fast, but they are quicker than your average scooter.
I was thinking Miyuki had done an engine swap or something but after some Google-fu, I found a picture of Natsume carrying the bike on her shoulders with the side panels off. It looks like it still has the original 50cc 2-stroke engine and stock exhaust. According to some scooter forums, top speed was limited to about 40 km/h and you can only massage a little more out of it before you run into longevity issues.
So, yeah. Plot armor speed and durability.
The real challenge was not crashing because of looking at the track girl.

I seem to recall that back when these came out, Honda put a bunch of superbike riders on them to have some fun on the track. I saw one of these while stationed on Okinawa, and they are truly a thing of beauty.

I haven't owned a car in a few years and haven't modded cars in much longer (way before I found this channel) but when I had a car, I always did what I could to fix it on my own. If I didn't know how I'd research it and learn. The only thing that stopped me were tools I couldn't easily get my hands on. I think I love you two so much because it reminds me of my mates and I helping each other learn and bond. Much love from Chicago, keep being rad guys. Oh, I also finally saw the city with a motocompo right before this video and it was bloody amazing.
If MCM ever decides to attempt a "Two Wheels" mini series (fill the gap between builds or seasons maybe?), I'd like to see the guys do something with the CT110 that is frequently in the background of many of their episodes. There is a massive cult following in Australia centred around "Postie" bikes and the fact that their engines share a similar layout to the Grom... imagine a 125 swapped Postie with EFI (cough... Haltech...) and electric start, then go one better with one of the many Big Bore kits available. I've been riding and modifying CT110s for 20+ years and I'd be happy to offer assistance and information where I can.

Old, low displacement 2-stroke bikes/scooters/mopers are one of the best ways to get into modifying vehicles. The parts are cheap and plentiful, and all you need is a socket set to get started.
Fantastic bikes, I would love to have one too! I remember seeing a Honda ad in a magazine with this little bike in it when I was in my junior high art class. I'm sure the exhaust smelled amazing as well.

Also, Honda have been working on an Electric version of this, with futuristic stylings... I'd much rather seen an electric modded one of these, just because it's awesome as it is, but for city living could have a few improvements made.

Google search Electric Motocompo. It's just a prototype or something at this stage. I think my boss mentioned it to me. I work as a mechanic/salesman at an electric bicycle retailer, so I hear a lot about all things electric, or I read about it myself. I think 2 wheels will trump 4 wheels in any urban environment, especially in places like London or Tokyo or New York or wherever, and electric has its benefits, which have been proven time and time again by a variety of people.
