- Did an edit just for fun. Major apologies for lots of frame stutters as this is PCSX2 running a Ratchet game...
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: RX 480 8GB
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10
20+ years of playing this game and I just now realized that the robot Fizzwidget says "big badass bomb" at 0:15
I made this video a month before you did lol... Either way, excellent video! It's still a major shame this was bugged in the official copy of the game, still my favorite ost to this day
0:02 bruh what how did it never occur to me to look up to the sky in Ratchet games, that image is beautiful
I could never do an armorless run.
i mean, nice attempt but the video is simply wrong.
The soundtrack is clearly called "Todano Armory Interior" and the one you show in the video is the "missile site", which is the main path and correctly plays the Todano theme normally.
"Interior" is supposed to play inside the building that you go through to get the Sheepinator. If you don't believe me, try completing only the Sheepinator path and going back to the ship to see which missions are completed. You'll see the "interior" mission is marked as complete that way, if you leave the missile site path alone.
So this is used but the bug wont let it play or the developers cut it?
I remember playing this mission on PS2 with the theme tho. What actually happened
Some copies are bugged, and others for some reason play the music, it's very inconsistent and I don't think I've seen any footage of the music playing in the game.
Supposedly the version that first shipped 1.0 might not have this bug, which would explain why some people remember the music but there isn't any footage, because the 1.0 version of Going Commando is REALLY Hard to get ahold of compared to 1.01 and 2.0
@@flaminginferno6641 I didn't even realise about 1.0. And 2 0 back then even now with old games 😂😂
@@dapaintbrush6965 makes sense considering it's not on the box, the only way to tell is if the box is black label or not, and even then that's only the difference between 1.0-1.01 and 2.0,
The only way I know to discern between 1.0 and 1.01 is through Dumping the game and comparing it to someone else's dump of 1.0
@@flaminginferno6641 that's the good thing about games now. if the company can be bothered about fixing stuff. We ain't gotta wait for new versions of it 😂😂
You edited the music in?
Yeah
@@HiyaImGeo cool
wait is this the ps2 or the ps3 version? how did you get qwark bot to talk/give the presentation?
ah it's the ps2 emulator, didn't knownit could upscale the graphics of the game. Ahh this littke music fix should be a mod😅
PS2 version. Emulated in PCSX2
