    (A)
    For the wrapper dough
    • 100g, 3/4 cup glutinous rice flour
    • 1 tsp, 3g baking powder
    • 2 tbsp, 22g sugar
    • 100ml, 80g boiling water
    • 1 tsp vegetable oil
    (B)
    Stuffing
    • sweetened red bean paste
    homemade / store-bought as you desire
    (C)
    For dipping and deep fry
    • plain water
    • white sesame seeds
    • oil for frying

      @@chloelim2270 I used cups. The first time I tried it, however, I put all the water in and it was too pasty, so I tried again and just mixed in enough water to get the right consistency. Otherwise, I used the exact cup measurements stated. Hope this helps! :-)

      ​@@chloelim2270 Grams or cups measurement are exactly the same in my recipe. I used kitchen scale and cup measuring to test it not just google search cup to gram conversions, that are completely wrong, totally false.

    1st time i made this, it turned out like sand dough...but when i made it the 2nd time, i added extra rice flour and used luke warm water instead of boiling water. on top of that, i knead it with disposal plastic gloves to prevent sticking...yes!!...tq josephine for the recipe!

      Thanks for trying my recipe. Christina k. So glad to hear about that! I used hot boiling water, sprinkle some flour on it, after then adding oil to prevent the sticky. It's worked so perfect!

      It's a big no! You can find ''glutinous rice flour'' on Amazon and in Chinese supermarkets. Glutinous is Sticky, to create the texture ''chewy''.

    I used 3/4 cup glutinous rice flour, but it's too sticky. How much more flour should I add? Another 3/4 cup? The bean paste recipe was great!

    If my conversion chart is correct you would bake at 305 F. My problem is my oven starts at 350 F. What do I do?
