      May I ask if you used the grams or the cups measurement.. they seem to be different after converting. Thanks

    • @whereispip
      @whereispip 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chloelim2270 I used cups. The first time I tried it, however, I put all the water in and it was too pasty, so I tried again and just mixed in enough water to get the right consistency. Otherwise, I used the exact cup measurements stated. Hope this helps! :-)

    • @JosephineRecipes
      @JosephineRecipes  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chloelim2270 Grams or cups measurement are exactly the same in my recipe. I used kitchen scale and cup measuring to test it not just google search cup to gram conversions, that are completely wrong, totally false.

    Hi Josephine, I tried it today.. The taste was awesome. Just wondering why my sesame balls cracks when fried? Mine is not as round as yours. Was it my oil temperature was too high? Thanks

    • @JosephineRecipes
      @JosephineRecipes  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Jane Yap Thanks for trying my recipe ❤️ The dough should be very soft, not sticky and close off tightly and roll into a round ball. See video 2:48 - 3:05. dip with a water if the ball too dry and keep it moist. For the frying process. See video. 3:41 - 4:56 Use a large wok, heat vegetable oil over medium high heat until 150C. (You'll see lots of bubble around) Add sesame balls at a time, and fry over ''medium heat'' until golden and ''puffed up'', about 7 minutes and increase the ''heat to medium high heat and fry about further 3 minutes''. It should take about 10 minutes per batch.
