This is by far one of the best live versions of this masterpiece by Andy, no one else but him can nail this beautiful tune. I have tried to learn this myself after learning one of Andy’s songs called “drifting” and I can only play it up until about the 2 minute mark maybe less, this song is so hard to get down packed unless you are Michael Hedges or Andy himself, it is such a beautiful song and is one of the most underrated pieces of all time, rest in piece Michael Hedges, your music lives on years and years later and that is truly saying something.
andy has admitted failing many times trying to cover this masterpiece by Hedges. you can see the immense emotional attachment and concentration he puts in, many times to the point of tears making this the pinnacle of all tributes to the Great Michael Hedges by one if his greatest fans and ambassadors to the style. all the respect to andy for putting this together.
This is a wonderful achievement! I am sure Michael would have been delighted. Congratulations and thank you! I thought I would never hear anyone else play this one.
First time I have seen anyone but Hedges play this beautiful piece correctly. This magical composition never fails to move me. Bravo sir!!

Is a big instrumentist!
the hardest piece of them all...
oh i dunno, surly that has to go to keys to the hover car
Well, both are hard in different ways...
