He is the example of what we all should strive to be, God bless you Mr Sanders/Coach Prime & thank you for all of your hard work & what you have done for college football & mankind.

      I'm a 58 yr old woman and an avid college football fan. I had my opinion on him based on his playing days. From watching his documentary, I have changed my opinion. He is old school and more coaches need to follow his lead. JS did him dirty.

      Your usage of the possessive his in relation to self is entirely correct here. It's more illustrative. Exceptionally apropos on this issue as Saban is viewed as a plantation profiteer profiting from what he regards as his possessions. One athlete is his own man and not Nick's possession. So, please use his self for this subject. Himself is not strong enough. Similarly TLC wasn't uneducated. They used the possessive and separate the words to emphasize the decisions a person makes affects the self he possesses. To your grammar corrector, learn to appreciate expressivity. Makes our world a little more wonderful. Oddly developed an appreciation years before TLC. Charles Barkley had turrible grammar but was then intelligent and articulate within the language he used.

Instead of popping off and starting beef with coach Saban as I'm sure many of us would have been FINE WITH if he had and felt he was justified in doing so, this man took the opportunity not only to defend himself, but also to praise coach Saban and show respect and grace at the same time. Thank you coach Prime, for showing ALL leaders, regardless of their backgrounds that you don't have to sacrifice your dignity and class to keep your swagger. And thank you Brandon Marshall, for being a fantastic arbiter of these stories for us. Your network is fantastic.

    • @MG-fn9xw
      @MG-fn9xw 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s exactly about segregation. When you segregate, you separate. The idea is “let’s get all the best black players to play for hbcu”
      If someone at UGA said “we saw about 60,000 white people having fun around the stadium, and that’s why Brock bowers committed to UGA” , that would be racist. But when Deion says that about Travis hunter, it’s all in the name of playing for a former corner lmao. It’s 100% about trying to segregate the best black players. There really are a lot of ppl who want segregation. In my college we have segregated “safe spaces”, our wonderful democratic politicians are good at segregation

    • @byrd1106
      @byrd1106 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MG-fn9xw Ahhh poor thing. The main talent pool of college football is the black players and you’re upset they want to play at an HBCU for a black coach who’s the best of all time at his position? Black people weren’t the ones who started segregation. Be mad at white America at the time that made HBCU’s exist in the 1st place cause they wouldn’t let black kids go to the same schools as them. I’m so tired of the white race getting mad at minorities because how we react to positions they FORCED us into. So you go cry over all those old white Americans graves and ask them “why did you have to treat these people like this over having a different skin color? Now they’re sticking together and my teams missing out on having some of their black boys playing for them and winning us championship, bringing our school money, and benefiting us.” Get use to it. This is only the beginning.
