Marc André merci et bravo pour le travail exceptionnel de toute votre équipe. C’est un vrai plaisir de suivre votre chaîne dont la qualité du contenu demeure inégalée. En vous souhaitant à tous de très belles fêtes de fin d’année.
Regarding Christies etc., I think the watch collecting business is learning the high price of what they thought was easy social-media popularity : they invited a huge non-buying audience into their world - this is a good thing, democratizing the appeal of fine watches is always to be welcomed. But something bizarre happened : more views meant more eyeballs watching and more folks willing to cry “foul”. The collecting business in any art is dark, strange, unscrupulous and follows its own rules - when that world wants to come bursting into the warm sunlight of mass appeal on social media, well, sunshine reaches every corner….
That’s a very interesting perspective and couldn’t agree more. Only Watch illustrates this perfectly; you know that one day people will put their nose into it so you better anticipate. Thanks for the message and a very happy holiday season to you 🎉

Great as always MAD. Thanks so much for all your efforts in '23. Looking forward to more great content in 2024. Wishing you and your team a great holiday season.
@marc-andré Do you think Breitling will take advantage of the Kinessi venture to revive the UG compax with a reworked B01 movement, or will it push upwards to a "more refined" movement instead? And if so, would Rolex allow that, as it would compete with the "mighty" Daytona...?
Yes, this could well happen as everything is there, but to be honest, I don't think you can compete with Rolex, they're in a league of their own and not catchable I reckon. The best to you and many thanks for your message.
I was very excited to hear Breitling bought UG. I have a Polerouter, it was my grandfather's watch and I've always had a special place for that brand. Like you said though, hopefully they keep its character intact.

Have you ever noticed that the more expensive the wine the more it tastes like bad vinegar, but what do I know?
skyscrapper dont need measurement but sea bridge need a measurement Sir
What was the first watch or company to feature the big date?!
So much of business, big and small, is built on a foundation of trust. Businesses that dont respect this don’t deserve to survive.
Harsh but true!
