Just finished mine saturday. this is a must have for Star Wars fans. I update the cockpit to look like the movie a New Hope. I also fully Lit mine up. The detail is awesome on this kit. It's a must have kit
As I get older I appreciate your channel more and more 🤠🇬🇧 I'm 45 now and have been building for 10yrs I'm doing a Tamiya monkey 125 at the moment.. Thank you so much 👍👍
Nice model and good build. But it looks more like 1:24 than 1:32 if I compare it to the 1:48 scale Model and what I can see from the video . have a good time
Nice work, like anytime. Im prefer more the airbrush gun paint all parts against spray because need more skill to handle. Do you use any decal solution to cover decals? By my mark i tank build i have used few layer flat coat, on my batwing microscale micro flat coat.
Just got mine last week. Started the Solar Panels Got 4 #4s, 5#5s and 3#3s. Luckily the grey frames cover the holes (no locking tabs) .... Hope the rest is OK. Yours looks Fantastic
I've watched the movies 1000 ish times since I was a kid in the 80's and I never knew those were solar panels. Shows how much of a Star Wars nerd I am not! lol I know he said the detail was very much spot on with the original filming one Lucas Films built. The detail does stand out like in the movie. It is fun to see screen used models but to have it reproduced for us mere mortals to build is taking to a Galaxy far far away!
Awesome build. I cant wait for my tie fighter kit, come on mail man! Now, if only someone would make a tie bomber kit. The only one thats never been kitted.
I don't mean offense to anyone, but every modeling channel is misusing "greebles". Greebles are parts taken from model kits to "kitbash" an original design. If the come on a plastic tree for the intended model, they are just small detail parts. These parts were once greebles when Lucasfilm made the original props, but the boxed models are purpose molded for the models.
Absolutely " PHENOMENAL " Chris 🏆🏆 You Mentioned The Xing and Im ALSO Thinking The B Wing 😱😱 WHAT An " EPIC " Set Thanks Again For Sharing Your Enthusiasm For The Hobby and Have a Blessed Week 🤗 Gary.
Looks like I'll be picking one of these up, they look nicely detailed and the attraction is definitely the size, although not to actual studio scale they'll still make a fine addition to any Star Wars model kit builder fan. Fingers crossed for a 1/32 x-wing. Thanks for sharing!
Chris one of the best parts of your videos are the things that don't quite go right, the paint wasn't quite the right colour or whatever. Everyone has issues with there modelling wether they be first timer's or experienced modellers thanks 👍.
You are super excited about this huge model and I love it. But calling those details crisp is a bit of an overstatement. They maybe crisp for AMT but take a look at Takom or Ryefield to see what crisp sprues really look like. But still love the video.
This cleverly detailed kit FLEW to completion. Nice build as well. What a beauty MONSTER - next stop - Shelves-R-Us for a plank big enough to hold it. Thanks again.
Nice review and thank you. Constructive criticism: I CRINGE when you use the BIG brush to apply the solvent to join the parts, seeing drops of it splashing on your mat. Someone made a thin glass tube with a thin metal tubing at then end to apply enough liquid solvent, controlling the amount and location. Again, just constructive criticism. Thanks for sharing and I look forward getting one of these. Happy modeling .
That looks phenomenal! I am so excited they've finally released this; it feels like I've been waiting forever! I really do hope they do a 1/32 X-Wing, it would be so popular! Great job!
Awesome build! I’m new to modeling and I’m about to buy one of these to put together. Could you tell me what type of glue you are using to assemble this? Brand and viscosity? Quick drying? Also, will you PLEASE do a full build video for the Millenium Falcon?? I just bought this kit and I’d love to follow along with a video of you putting it together and painting it. I subscribed! Great stuff! Thank you!!
This has actually been on pre-order at Culttvman for a year now. They have just been changing the release date all along. For the size and price, Round2 should have done this in 24th scale, then it would have been actual studio scale as that is the scale of the filming models.
Not sure where you're located but if you have an Ollie's bargain outlet store or something similar to it check out the toy aisle. There are some classic model kits. My local Ollie's has the speed racer sports car. Bat mobile and bat wing with figure. Green hornet Black beauty and many others. Keep up the amazing work. Hope you and your family are doing well.
TIE-RIFFIC BUILD!! Which blue/grey craft paint are you referring to? I can’t seem to find that information in the video. Is it the same FolkArt brand as the gunmetal grey you’re using? Thanks!
I have the tie fighter battle damage star wars, besides the ATT Battle tank. Star Wars stuff is very cool amazing.
The force is strong with this one...
Can’t wait to try my Archieve X paints on this tie!
This is great, I was about to ignore it thinking it is just reissue of the old one but now I'm on the edge of buying it :)
Same here, I was also thinking it was just an upscale of their old 1/48 but I’m pleasantly surprised!
Good thing you watched! Enjoy it!
Got mine as soon as it was available! This model is huge!!
Just finished mine saturday. this is a must have for Star Wars fans. I update the cockpit to look like the movie a New Hope. I also fully Lit mine up. The detail is awesome on this kit. It's a must have kit
Chris+ I need at least two of these along with Darth Vader's tie fighter this is a beautiful kit
As I get older I appreciate your channel more and more 🤠🇬🇧 I'm 45 now and have been building for 10yrs I'm doing a Tamiya monkey 125 at the moment.. Thank you so much 👍👍
That is awesome!
i got to have it!!!
Now they have to produce a 1/32 scale X Wing Fighter with a variable decal sheet , the wise thing to do.
Wow.Future build for me
Great job and vidio. Bravo
Thanks 👍
❤😊🎉👍🤗☺️😁🤩💯 Star Wars Tie Fighter very cool massive. I have of my own star wars tie fighters & jedi starfighters.
Thank you 🤗
Nice model and good build. But it looks more like 1:24 than 1:32 if I compare it to the 1:48 scale Model and what I can see from the video . have a good time
I agree...one of those scales HAS to be incorrect. Either this is 1/24 or the old one is 1/72. Where is the "1/48" scale kit from?
Really cool model. Now I'm working on a vintage AMT 1/58 Millennium Falcon and that's about the same size.
Great build Chris looks awesome 👍👍
Now we need model kits of the rebel blockade runner, Luke's landspeeder, skyhopper, jawa sandcrawler, and updated Darth Vader TIE fighter.
And a 1/32 ATST with Chewie. :)
Yes to the first three
Star Wars stuff is always fun to see. This one is nice, and sure makes the smaller one look tiny.
Thanks!
Forced perspective with a 1/72 behind it
Great kit , awesome build and paint .
WOW .
SOOOO KOOOOOLLLLL .
Glad you like it!
The only Tie Fighter kit with the correct interior details! Great kit and great review of a kit I have just discovered in this video!
Many thanks!
Hot damn! Finally. Re-relases are nice and all, but this thing... this is what I am talking about! I need this.
That's Massive!
As someone who has built a lot of studio scale resin Star Wars kits, it is nice to see these coming out now.
Nice work, like anytime. Im prefer more the airbrush gun paint all parts against spray because need more skill to handle. Do you use any decal solution to cover decals? By my mark i tank build i have used few layer flat coat, on my batwing microscale micro flat coat.
Can't wait to see someone paint it up like the one from rebels that saben painted.
Just got mine last week. Started the Solar Panels Got 4 #4s, 5#5s and 3#3s. Luckily the grey frames cover the holes (no locking tabs) .... Hope the rest is OK.
Yours looks Fantastic
1/32 X-Wing next please.
And then an ATST with Chewie!
Not a fan of sci fi but I'm going to build this one. Great build Chris..keep em coming. I'll keep watching.
Thanks Bob!
Very nice 👌

What a great looking finished replica of the TIE. Thanks for showing us Chris.
Thanks for watching!
I've really got to get myself one of these kits. I love large scale models.
I need the Xwing, Y wing, tie advanced, and falcon all in that scale.
Awesome build. I cant wait for my tie fighter kit, come on mail man! Now, if only someone would make a tie bomber kit. The only one thats never been kitted.

My my my, what a giant thing! Fantastic!!!!
Thanks for the sout out. This kit is definitely one I took a great amount of pride in creating. I hope everyone loves it. (no pun intended)
Thanks again! Great work Jamie!
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
Thanks again!
@hpiguy you are welcome thanks
That’s a good idea - numbering the parts on the surfaces that will be covered by other parts!
When they make Vaders tie, then will look. Good to see them going in this direction.😊
And an ATST with Chewie on Endor would trip my trigger!
There's a part on the sprue that looks suspiciously like a Sherman Tank vvss suspension. Part nr 27(?) at 6.11
That is likely what it would have been. There are cool pics of the Star Wars model building areas and the Tamiya military boxes fill the room.
@@hpiguyHi they now for a 1,32 x.wing and tie interceptor
Looks like I'll be picking one of these up, they look nicely detailed and the attraction is definitely the size, although not to actual studio scale they'll still make a fine addition to any Star Wars model kit builder fan.
Fingers crossed for a 1/32 x-wing.

🤞 for a Y-Wing also
@@uwekonnigsstaddt524 Yep, totally agree on that! Even a 1/48 Y-wing will do.
Beautiful. Very nice job !!!
Great build as always I'm definitely going to order me one enjoy watching your channel thank you
Awesome, thank you!
Another great build! Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Awesome - look forward to picking this one up !!!

1/32 big and nice, easy build great result
Great process. Can't wait to follow in your building-footsteps. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing and building this, definitely on my wish list for sure. Always a pleasure to watch your builds you do a fantastic job.
Please, Please, Please come out with a 1/32 scale X-Wing. That would be awesome.
Great build!
Glad you think so!
This us such a cool build, Chris!!!
Wow….that is a massive model. Thanks for sharing. Great video
Thanks for watching!
Formidable trabajo,Enhorabuena 😊
Great build and review!
Incredible work, now I'll have to get one 1/32 Tie Fighter too😊
This cleverly detailed kit FLEW to completion. Nice build as well. What a beauty MONSTER - next stop - Shelves-R-Us for a plank big enough to hold it. Thanks again.
Thank you very much!
Excellence build and presentation Chris! I love your inthusiam for this kit! Well done Round2 👏 & Chris!
This is damn close to a studio scale I'll definitely be picking this up great job
That's awesome build
How well does this go with the classic Vader TIE kit? It looks like the cockpit is a little bigger on this one.
Nice review and thank you. Constructive criticism: I CRINGE when you use the BIG brush to apply the solvent to join the parts, seeing drops of it splashing on your mat. Phenomenonal work
Thanks a lot!
Wow, this is an epic kit! Awesome build and paint Chris.

That looks phenomenal! I am so excited they've finally released this; it feels like I've been waiting forever! I really do hope they do a 1/32 X-Wing, it would be so popular! Great job!
I hope so too!
🤞 for a Y-Wing.
Great build glad I found you
Awesome, thank you!
I bay 1
Oh, I am buying this! - The smaller ones just didn't interest me, not that they are bad, I just like bigger models
Beautiful

Wow, this model is greebly central, isn't? It is now on my shopping list.
Take care :)
I need this and a 1/32 xwing, Slave 1 oh and Tie fighter interceptor, y-wing and A wing, shall I go on?
ATST with Chewie too!
Love it.
I want one now
I guess it's shaped like that because you can always remix those pieces and make a small amp/loudspeaker system in that mood to hold your phone...
Just got mine today
That's awesome, looks great thanks for sharing 👍
Too cool!
when you paint everything whilst they are stuck on the sprues, doesnt it leave a mark when trimmed?
Awesome!
I want one.
What did you make the stand out of? Looks great!
All the detail that no one would ever see gives so much display options
Not sure where you're located but if you have an Ollie's bargain outlet store or something similar to it check out the toy aisle. There are some classic model kits. Loving this scale !! Doing a great job ... hopefully they will do more in this scale other than a star destroyer!!
👍👍👍👍👍 👌👌👌👌👌 👏👏👏👏👏 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WOW!!!!
Excellent build! Hopefully, I’ll be able to afford to buy this when it comes out!
started working on my tie fighter, i have a question reguarding the front lasers. I think that they stick out way to far. is this correct
Great Kit! Could you tell us how tall it is including the Base/Stand?
The Kronos has several new hull panels, too.
What kind of glue is that? I remember using testers glue out of a metal tube when I was a kid.
