Actually there was a very dark wizard that found the island where Azkaban was formed, which was initially used as some kind of a fortress. That dark wizard made the dementors and used them to torture muggle sailors. He was never affected by them cuz he created them. After he died the dementors kept breeding and stayed on the island until one day the ministry found it and started using it as a prison. You can find the full origins of dementors on a movieflame video. I'm not sure what the link is but you can just search 'origins of dementors movieflame' and it should come up.

My logical muggle brain tells me, that if you pump enough energy into a small enough area, you will get the mother of all explosions. Therefore, discharging a powerful enough spell into a Dementor should result in a cloud of dust. Dementors cant be killed, but maybe they can be simply destroyed.

The description of someone who experienced a kiss says that “the dementor reduces its victim to something like itself; soulless and evil”. I think a victim of the kiss turns into a dementor after a while; maybe after they die and their body starts to decompose?

I think it's less literal than you are making it seem. my guess is that the number of dementors is based on the...sadness and negative emotions prevailing at least the wizarding world. like, the dementors were more numerous when the second wizarding war was happening due to how scared and sad and angry people were, but in peace time they are probably few in number and can be bullied into serving at azkaban for a legal meal.
Question/video idea - if Dumbledore always knew Voldemort would eventually come back and if he always at least suspected, and knew for a fact since book 2, that Voldemort didn't thanks to the Horcruxes, why he didn't start searching for them any earlier? He could have started the same investigation he started between 5th and 6th book years earlier.

I believe that it is confirmed that parseltongue can be learned. In fact, I believe that This is proven true simply owing to the fact that Ron was able to speak it to get into the Chamber of Secrets in the Deathly Hallows. I couldn't tell you whether Harry remembers how though. He never knew that he was doing it, only how to manipulate himself into doing it. I wouldn't be surprised though if someone told me that he just kept on instinctively doing it due to years of having the unique ability. For some reason I hate to think that he lost it. It's too iconic to the character and snakes get an absolutely horrible rap in most media. Harry being bros with snakes seems like good pay off to the poor species.

Hell, I don't even know what the Ministry does with them after the books end, because I've heard that they've been removed as the Guards of Azkaban...except Azkaban was their home before it was a prison, and they main reason they were left there was to prevent them from roaming free. Now that Azkaban no longer needs them...where are they?

I think Dementors are very much like fungus. Like fungus, they are almost always present, and, when conditions are just right, they grow, become visible, and spread in large numbers. If you've ever had a sudden break out of mushrooms in your yard after long rainstorms, then you kinda know what's going on. The mushroom spores, and sometimes whole mushrooms, are almost always present, but it takes long, dark rainstorms to make them large and visible all over your yard, and give them the right conditions to spread farther. Chopping them down gets rid of them, but it also releases spores that pop up again when the conditions are just right. Same, I think, with Dementors. They can't be killed because they're always just there in the background waiting for the conditions needed for them to become more active.
I imagine that Dementors can only be weakened if they find themselves in a place full of love, affection, happiness, and life, and has seen nothing but for a long time. I imagine being trapped in such a place would be a akin to torturous starvation for the dementor, withering and diminishing its power and form. I don’t know what would ultimately become of it, but I’ve always like to imagine places like family homes full of love, beautifully tended gardens and welcoming places of gathering and socialising to be uncomfortable for a dementor to be around for prolonged periods. They can go into such places to feed, but return to the gloomy shadows once done.

I never understood why JKR retconned the way Dementors are created. In PoA she gave the perfect and best explanation for how they are created. Hope that helps, other than that it's more or less spot on, and if you are actually English, you've got the weirdest accent I've ever heard and I've just wasted 10 minutes I'll never get back.
Dementors were born out of muggles being tortured by Wizard called dick***dis something....so Rowling verse is completely wrong about some beings as non-magical, there is nothing such as non-magical creatures or muggles. The wizard and witches have magic in their blood, probably born by someone breedin with a demon or something, Muggles or so-called non-magical creatures have spirit magic and can access it with certain discipline everything in nature is created by natures mystic. Maybe fiendfyre would work, but it is an unreliable spell that can make disasters if it escapes the caster's control, the patronus would still be the better bet

@@HarryPotterTheory Allow me to help you out, here are some words you pronounced that could use a touch up with the accent you're going for: foulest (should be pronounced clearer, you pronounced it like a cockney Londoner, try "f-a-wl-st", reduced should be more like "red-yew-st", environment you're pronouncing "enviment" when it should be "envi-ro-mnt" (the "O" maybe pronounced as "uh"), conducive is a tricky one but the way you pronounce it gives something away, try "cond-yew-siv". Hope that helps, other than that it's more or less spot on, and if you are actually English, you've got the weirdest accent I've ever heard and I've just wasted 10 minutes I'll never get back.

Dementors were born out of muggles being tortured by Wizard called dick***dis something....so Rowling verse is completely wrong about some beings as non-magical, there is nothing such as non-magical creatures or muggles. The wizard and witches have magic in their blood, probably born by someone breedin with a demon or something, Muggles or so-called non-magical creatures have spirit magic and can access it with certain discipline everything in nature is created by natures mystic. This is how the ancient muggles could battle wizard and witches, even fantastic beasts muggles could prevent his memory from oblivation by power of his Love (mind), even VD universe has shamanic magic to counter magic from witches and create a huntress.
So Rowling should make this canon and show anti-wizard mystics performed by our Indian mystic (lolz) or something, well I guess I am promoting spirituality or something lolz....🤪 Muggles can turn into patronus themselves or spirit beings powerful enough to ward off negativity like dementor and wizard magic
