I dont trust Ian's chin tbh. I think that mvp will figure out the timing and distance on garry and nail him with one of those elbows he throws. Exciting fight though.

Respectfully I disagree with your take, Gilbert. I think Garry can win but I don't think volume is the answer. I think the blueprint to beat MVP is out there and it's not volume. It's timing. Making your motion count because MVP is safe and hard to hit. Get him off balance as he's blitzing and jump on him or hurt him with your strikes. Look at the Lima fight. Garry won't be able to take MVP down in the traditional sense, MVP's first and second line TDD is actually quite good, look at how he fended off Logan Storley (and I know you Gilbert Burns know how good a wrestler Logan is). He just isn't good at get-ups and doesn't do damage on the break because he's trying to get back to distance ASAP. This is why the best strategy IMO is to get him off balance then try to get on top of him, because odds are he's going to stay on bottom for the rest of the round.
Anyway it's an interesting fight and I am looking forward to it. MVP's far and away Garry's stiffest test to date but not necessarily vice versa.

Ian has gone up against good fighters and Made it look easy. I definitely got Ian winning. He won’t make that same mistake Kevin Holland made and just stand in front of MVP. Ian moves around a lot and he is faster. Ppl talk about his personal life but that’s his own business. I see Ian being a champion. Say what you want about him, but he is super talented.
agree 100%. Ian finds a way to win. People can’t compare Ian to Kevin Holland. Holland never has a gameplan and his fight IQ is awful. Just plants and gets cracked, MVP clowned him and Holland never recovered emotionally (he got embarassed) lol

I really think Ian has the Fight IQ to make the necessary adjustments when approaching MVPs unorthodox style!
Like U said someone like Kevin Holland would fight MVP the exact same way he'd fight a Marvin Vettori!
I know ppl rave about MVPs distance management and I'm sure it's great but I honestly think Garry's might be better, MVP has a great Blitz but Garry fights really well long and has crazy combinations when in boxing range!
Like when he got dropped by Song Kenan? Or like when he ran away from Geoff Neil for 3 rounds? Neil Magny isn't a good fighter.
