Nice. I hope she gave him some credit in her articles. Surprised he left gun at home but more surprised as a fisherman he did not have at least a knife.
You might not be aware of rear projection, an older technique used to save money making movies. Janssen and the girl were in a non-moving car. They were filmed in front of a moving background
Amazing...a Jeep can keep up with a 50's sedan, and is close enough to shoot it with a rifle, but then the sedan has enough time to stop, the passengers to leave, and a makeup case wedged against the accelerator, and the passengers to run out of sight. Did the Jeep driver stop and ask directions?
cortesstapts43 there are quite a few Richard Diamond old radio shows on UTube. and you can listen to them in the dark and rest your eyes. more relaxing than watching sometimes. they are good
Love these Richard Diamond 💎 episodes! So good! David Janssen is a favorite actor of mine! I want to see more of these!
Awesome Show
How about showing some courtesy first by saying “PLEASE”😉
Great show
Great show! Thank you.
Actress Judith Braun, an NYC native, is still with us in 9/22, at 92 years!
He's really working that steering wheel.......LOL....
I was laughing at that too. 😅
Car that went over was completely different. Stock footage. Have even seen it in other films. Good way to save money and bring us more episodes!
And make less messes.
Dick Powell is radio Richard Diamond, surprised by TV version with David Janssen. AND, rsdio R.D. had a steady named Helen.
Excellent find! Really fun stuff here folks.

Probably because he has the same luck as I do when I go fishing ☺

And a mighty CUTE damsel in distress I might add ☺

Yes, but the exaggerated steering wheel “wiggle” is very unrealistic - probably the directors instruction as the jeep driver is doing it too.
Why didn't she just give the guys a different role of film. By the time they figured out it wasn't the right one, she could have been long gone.
wow,david jansen,great,!!
Left the automatic at home, but brought the Scotch ☺
Originally telecast as a summer replacement for "DECEMBER BRIDE" for Instant Maxwell House (and other fine General Foods products).
Oh the Cool Waters 💧 of David
Come on man ,you gotta throw them baby fish back unless you've got a crab pot lol

Nice Guy with Ms Skirt 68 Miller
a Doberman left his master? must have went home..
It's last scene first for me in this narrative
The way he was yanking that steering wheel, they would’ve been swerving all over the road.
Do you have any more Richard Diamond to upload? More would be welcome & much appreciated. Thanks

The dialogue on the bodyguard is because of no love advantage being taken by the adjacent seat driven by w man confident and a trifle staid
