Personally I think AR coating on the out side is a big negative. Why would you put a softer coating on anything that was designed to be extremely scratch resistant?
@@ChisholmHunterOfficialOver time you will pickup hair line scratches visible under bright lights, trust me it will get scratched and it wont look great 😊
In my list of grail watches, I like the Breguet Type XXI Automatic Mens Watch (Model 3817STX23ZU). I really like the crisp Arabic numerals on the dial with the vintage color lume. Also like the little diamonds at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. Finally, nice to see this in titanium instead of stainless steel. Beautiful watch!
Harrison, great review as always, the oris bracelet is nice and feels better than the smp because of the tapering? Hard to say they are both nice… Oris still doesn’t grab me, I think is the shape of the case, the lugs are kinda hidden then stick out upwards and downwards in a strange way?? My fav Breguet is the marine, you can also get it on bracelet or other options, the dial is just superb! Cheers!
A very attractive dial, but the external AR coating and the outer polished bracelet links invite too many scratches in my experience. The 400 movement is a great improvement, as is the 5 day reserve for sure, but it hikes the price a bit too much perhaps for an Oris and puts it too close to Tudor BB58 territory. But then not everyone likes the more vintage, smaller aesthetics. Each to their own I guess.
My favorite Breguet is easily 5347 Double Tourbillon. You say Breguet, you think troubillon and why stop at one whe you can have two and with 4 dial/case material variations to tickle your fancy.
Are you sure about the 40mm? As far as I know there are only 41.5 and 43.5 mm available with the calibre 400
Yes you are correct, I also just checked, it’s 41.5 mm. Not sure about the lug-to-lug
I have the green in 39.5mm with the selita. It's awesome.

From my experience with the SMP it doesn't really scratch. I've had it for 2 years and not a nick!

Who cares a watch crystal is easily replaced during a service
I absolutely love Breguet, think it’s super underrated and my favourite Breguet models are the classique 5157 in rose gold and the type xx
Funny how he was advertising Breguet at the start, you saying this and this is an Oris Review
@@cp4lyf1 Why's that funny? He asked what our favorite Breguet models were didn't he?
Because your a Nob b
Great review, love Oris Aquis Calibre 400. My favourite Brequet is Classique Complications 5447. Thanks - Mages from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Love Oris. Great watch!
I love both Breguet and Blancpain, but my absolute grail watch may well be the Breguet Type XXI.

HI I
Hi I have attached my resume for your kind perusal lswppkp2W
that thickness isn't as noticeable on the 43.5mm version as it is on the 41.5mm model
Love Oris also!!!
Gotta love Oris!

I’m stuck between the super ocean 42 omega SMP 300,Tudor black bay, and the oris... I really can’t decide.
All of them are fabulous watches. I am a sucker for the SMP 300 though, it's awesome!
Have you seen the new Omega CK 859 nobody’s talking about?
Interesting... Should we do a review?!
I'm really undecided between this, the Tudor Black Bay and a high end Seiko.
Breguet type 20 or marine
I would not agree that 13.5 is a thick watch by diving standards. 14.5 and up is thick though.
I like your accent a lot. Pretty awesome
Haha, Can't hide a Scottish accent!

Pretty sure the AR coating is only on the inside. From Oris, 'Sapphire, domed on both sides, anti-reflective coating inside'
Marine Hora Mundi in white gold!!
same story dude. Same Oris skelaton was my first . have never changed brand after .
I want this watch soo bad, hopefully one day will find it for £2k.
Very nice

Longines Hydroconquest 41 >>
I'd love a breguet Big Marine.
So would i!
Marine Hora Mundi 5557
The Aquis looks absolutely beautiful in pictures, but I have to say that it is one of the worst looking watches on wrist that I've ever seen.
Breguet Classique 7137BR/15/9VU. Super
