      You wont be disapointed. I wear the blue Oris for the last 3 years daily and have very little scratches on it and it as good as the day I bought it. Very happy with mine glad to say

      You definitely should purchase an Oris. I own one of the New York Harbor limited editions and it is amazing.

    Oris all the way, this dial is mesmerising in person. Only issue is lack of microadjustment on the fly.

    Both great watches but still love the Oris. I would love to see the Omega up against the blue Oris. The sunbust dial is just gorgeous in the blue Oris

      I do as well but I grow tired of adventurous color schemes after a year or so. It’s why I go black dials almost every time.

    I quite like POs, but I just cannot get over how thick they are.
    If this PO was thinner, I'd probably prefer it. As it is, I would pick the Oris.

    To be bonest,looking at the Oris,im really surprised by what you get,your bang for buck,i liked the Oris green a lot,it reminds me of the H Mosers Pioneer ? Not sure of the name but just on camera that lovely deep green .

      Yeah the Pioneer is the correct name. The reason for the resemblance is the fumé dial.

    I don't hate on Oris, quite the opposite; I've owned four Oris during my watch journey. But I'm still trying to understand the logic of a five-day power reserve on an automatic. If you're thinking that this is a weekend watch and it'll hold power between weekends...well, no. If you take it off 8pm Sunday, it'll be out of power by 8pm Friday; so close, but no cigar. So why then? Especially since the rotor on the initial release of caliber 400 couldn't keep it wound (and believe me, handwinding it was a major chore). It's a solution in search of a problem.

    Evey video we hear coaxial gives better power reevere yet its aleays the watch with worst power reserve ... Maybe choose the other features of coaxial .

    I love the case and dial finishing on the Oris … I think Oris is ahead of Omega in these specs … the movement I think os a different history as the Cal 400 is still new to see the working performance during longer periods but for looks … Oris

    I’d definitely go with PO over Aquis purely on esthetics .
    There are older 39.5mm PO molders which could be had for much less.

      Agree but I got Green Aquis 400 mint condition, second hand for 1500$. You can’t beat it.

    Frustrating they put the 8800 not the 8900. As their flagship diver it deserves the 8900 with two barrels for better time keeping and jumping hour feature.

      You're asking for a watch that's 3mm smaller than the watch that the 8900 was made for and you complain that it "deserves" the bigger movement. If you want the 8900 movement, then buy the watch that if fits into. Sheesh.

      @@bdegrds there are some. Sinn 903, some Omegas at the entry level price point. Longines has some decent finishing. Of course not to Patek or ALS level but at least something.

      Oris is good value and typically you can get discount from AD. Omega yes over priced now

    After seeing that Oris in person, I would seriously choose that over the Omega.
    Unfortunately, I will probably never own an Omega (maybe a 3861, but that's way in the future). Omega fanboys have little brother energy and have largely turned me off the brand.

    The lug set up on the Oris is totally whacked - it makes the case and dial seem way oversized. Very odd and disproportionate experience. Passed on one even though the price and movement was solid. Omega all the way.

      The Planet Ocean proportions are way worse. It feels super thick and unbalanced on the wrist plus has a bad bracelet. Just stick to the SMP300 if you want an Omega diver.

    The difference between the AR coating between these two is wild! The Omega is infinitely better than the Oris! Did anyone else notice this?

    There is a world quality difference between these two watches. Makes no sense to compare the much superior Omega with this lower end entry watch Oris! Why Tim?

      Omega is not that far ahead of oris. Movement is abit better, case and bracelet finishing are similar

      ​​@@f10087omega and tudor are actually a good comparison. Movement, dials, case and bracelet finishing are very similar. Modern day omegas are very Overpriced. Pelagos bracelets are actually better than a recent omega 57 I saw

    Omega has gotten incredibly Overpriced. Omega Steel models selling more than Rolex steel models. Their white moon watch costs 2k more than the black model, Rolex does not do that. Their pricing is competing whith Piaget, IWC, Bvlgari, GP, blancpain when they are not at that level

The 45mm planet ocean 17.1 about same as fifty fathoms Bathyscaphe. Omega 57, 11k, Iwc portuguese same. I know prices better than you kiddo I'm actually involved in the watch world, I don't just watch TH-cam videos

      Yes Rolex make great pieces however the stigma attached to wearing one ruins it in most cases. Coz of the show offs that wear them who are not true watch enthusiasts. PS I’ve purchased owned, worn and sold 4x DJ’s 3x YMs and a 41mm sub date.
