Regarding coolant orange, universal, and green. In my understanding the orange and green can’t be mixed, so in this scenario (the entire system was flushed) what is the harm of using green?
I never drain my radiator when I change the thermostat. I just make sure I have something to catch the fluid as it runs out after I remove the thermostat.
+Urban Hunter Step 4 is: Check the thermostat gasket before installing Put the thermostat into place Put the thermostat housing into place Insert the two 13mm bolts into the thermostat housing

It's been several years but if I remember right mine is on top of the engine. ???
That’s got to be for a 4.7 liter engine. The 5.7 is on the top side of the water pump.

Can this be done from the top of the engine or do I need to jack it up on a lift?
If you haven't done it already, jack it up. I changed mine last week. '09 1500
Will this fix my heater
Thanks
Was there a gasket you put on?

Wtf engine are you working?
Universal coolant looks green ,
You’re gonna wanna burp that radiator if you’re just gonna fill it up manually, I’m sure you know that though, seems like you know what you’re doing
