Hands down the best tension tool. My favorites are the Christina Palmer Wiper inserts and the locknoob single sided tension bars and the Christian Holler Champion Tension bars. Simply amazing
If I ever used my Sparrow ergonomic turning tools I'd find out if they break or not. I was super excited when they came out and then never use them at all.
I have the new bare bones ‘Feral’ Tension Set on the way so I haven't tried them yet. They look very interesting in that they combine the BOK design on one side and have a prybar style on the other side and is bent to be ergonomic.
Great review and I modeled my collection from your videos. I bought extra turning tools from covert and law lock. I have most of the Multipick tools, also. Bare bones looks promising for price on turning tools. I’m not a fan of the sparrows turning tools. Each of my set has covert and law lock turning tools. Excellent in depth discussion and reasoning as always!
Hi Sandman, at 4.40 the "Y" tension wrench was never meant to be used as shown. The "Y" should be spread wide, then compressed and inserted with the prongs top and bottom of the keyway. The wrench at 90 degrees to the keyway. These tension wrenches are under rated, and not for auto or to hold back shutters. They can give good left and right control of the plug when picking, and are excellent when using a pick gun - not for Locksporters, I know!
Thank you! You would know! You have helped me a bunch in the past! Your the locksmith in Australia correct? If so, give me your email here so I can message you. Take care!
Hi Sandman! Have you oiled your Multipick leather case? It looks very nice and shiny, is it oil or wear? I have the same case and mine look a bit different. It smells wonderful 😊.
Awesome review Sandman!!!! Thank you buddy! Yeah I got to get me some higher quality TOK,and bottom actually!!! I'm using a cheap pair right set right now, and I feel like it's not giving me the right feedback, if any!! Quick question? Do you think it matters what type of metal the tensioners are? 🔒🔒
I don’t think it matters, and most companies will not tell me what metal they are using for their tension tools even though I know the metal for their picks, but they don’t have to be the strongest, they need to FIT the lock most importantly. But if you feel sparrows tension tools in your hand, you can feel there is a difference in quality that cannot be explained in a video compared to multipick or CI.
Thanks for The show, awesome As usual 👍 The only negative side of Multipick is The price, would better prefer CI stuff, have no Moki turning Tools át The moment.
just turn off auto focus to rid of the focusing issues , open camera app and i believe on iphone you push on the screen and hold and when it shows something you release and auto focus will be locked.
That set looks really intense!! And well laid out! Wicked nice line up from multipick.
I love these tensioners 👍👍 Great overview video! Thanks for sharing this 😊

Very nice variety
I’ve had Moki tools for about two months and that’s all I use
The Chris Holler Champion series are awesome, gotta admit though i wish the sizes were written on them like all the others

Multipick is my go to.

I want to see a pic of the shelf of books you refer to at the beginning.....
Multiple shelves at this point.
Лучше список с названиями и авторами. Когда услышал сколько у вас книг я перестал дышать. Это круто.
