@2:11 I spent something like 2 years watching RDR2 clips on here, the whole time wishing I could afford a PS4 so I could play it. Now that I have a PS4 and been able to play I've come to the sad and extremely demoralizing realization that compared to the Original RDR this game is absolute TRASH!! 😭😭 Yeah it's a beautifully rendered game, there's no disputing that fact but they clearly cared more about how the game looked than how it played. Which sucks ass big time and I'll tell you why.
1) The controls and gameplay are clunky and feel heavy AF. Not to mention they're totally counter intuitive!
2) You don't have access to ALL your weapons at once and worst of all no matter how times you equip them to your back & shoulder they keep getting stored on the stupid horse.
3) There's the stupid "Cores" forcing me to sleep, eat, rest etc when I just want to play damn game not deal with that crap! Why they put that shite in here after the backlash they got over GTA:SA I have no idea. Imagine if that shite was in GTA5 how well that would go over.
4) The moronic NPCS that start shooting/attacking at the slightest misstep or bump, which is inevitable since the controls blow. Then if you go defend yourself after the idiots start shooting at you, out comes ever spawning unstoppable Cyberpunk cops show up and kill you.
5) The story is flat as hell and not interesting in the slightest. What's worse is rockstar retconned the story making the original look like an unfinished mess packed with plot holes. One Example: Is Arthur. If he was such an important part of John's character development then why TF was he not even mentioned in the original.
6) Annoying Unskippable cinematic cutscenes.
7) The forced slowness, making things take hours to get done.
8) The fast travel blows and is inconvenient as all hell.
9) Scummy Microtransactions! Unless it's a F2P microtransactions do not belong in a game, especially in a AAA title game that costs $70+ dollars. Anyone who says different is an idiot and a shill.
And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know... "iTS rEaLIsTiC rEeeEE".
Like I give a shite! 🤷 Ppl don't play video games for realism, they play them as an Escape from real life, if we wanted realism we'd play a Sim or go outside. Rockstar really screwed the proverbial pooch on this one.

The controls and neediness of side characters/camp really put me off, granted it is a stunning looking game, there's no denying that but you can put sprinkles on dog shit, doesn't mean it tastes good.
