Did you do any mocap clean up in IC8? I couldnt see the link. Be good to see a workflow. I had a nightmare with shaky hips and shaky legs. Was really difficult to fix. Saying that it was last year and it was another pay per motion capture. This may be a lot better, Cheers
@@JonathanWinbush Please please ask the good guys at rokoko to do a juicy tutorial on fixing any shakiness, if they can show results to fix the annoying leg and hip issues on iclone, you would be the absolute 'Top G'.
Hi Winbush, I have a question about a different topic. Recently got Unreal 5 going. And followed most of your tuts on setting things up. - Very newbie question: *When you setup raytracing enabled at the start of the project (film/video visualisation start setup), does checking raytracing change the performance/heating of your device? And does this disable Lumen?* I created a scene, did the whole Cineware workflow but I enabled raytracing at the start... I wonder if I didn't would I still get realistic rendering or would it enable aspects of lumen without raytracing? Not too sure how the settings work. Must be quite a simple issue, but yeah my laptop is being pushed into Cooler Boost by MSI to avert the heat. x_x
you'd get a better foot contact if the camera is lowered, the reason the character is on tippy toes is because Rokoko is interprating the top part of your shoes angle as though the shoe tips are pointing down.
Amazing video Winbush. A quick question, do you think Rokoko would soon support multi Cam Mocap support ? Like Move AI ? WE generally see 40 -60% improvements when using 2 or 3 or even upto 6 Cams for some amazing track and mocap results.
That Im really unsure of I don't have any inside info except stuff Sam might say during his live streams but I know he said they are experimenting on ways to push it forward for sure

Rokoko are now using our mocap data to train their ai model which they then intend to put on their marketplace. so, you pay a performer, pay rokoko for their suit, pay for software and time to clean it up and then they take two of your performances to ‘create’ a new one and claim they own it. grubby business model, hope they fold soon. given the current cost and utility of the ‘smart’suit the only asset they will have worth anything is the data we have created for them.

You'd have to test it out im not sure I just always put on ray tracing but lumen powered stuff is on by default even with ray tracing on

Can you do a video with Rokoko + Cascadeur? Can Cascadeur make the motion captured more natural?
I've been meaning to try Cascadeur haven't had a chance to dig into it yet though
