Great tutorial! The part of deleting most keyframes and keeping only the ... KEY ... frames is very interesting. Also, yours was one of my favourite entries! Loved the character and the aesthetics! Congrats!
cool vid but mine isn't working it's perfectly. Its fine in the rokoko Studio and blender but when i retarget it To the character. it's arms go all funny and inside the body and i did everthing you said its in a t-pose position from mixamo Help please?
If your rig already has an animation but not IK bones. How would you in blender go about adding IK bones to that rig, since the IK bones aren't animated?
very interesting! But wouldn't it have been way easier to clean up the keyframes in the graph editior? Clearly seeing the "most important" keyframes, and also being able to decimate (ratio) your keyframes. Just a thought ;)
Awesome video! Have you tried this with a linked character that already has the Mixamo control rig, or do you have to use a non linked character and recreate the control rig every time you add animation? The results from these tools today are amazing. I worked in the VFX industry just a few years ago and productions paid millions for mocap data that was super jittery and basically useless. We usually just blew it all away and re-animated it by hand while using the mocap as very expensive reference.
How about instead of submitting a real video, you present a "sequence of key-poses"-converted-to-video? I mean this to avoid manual cleaning and selecting after all the process, just before interpolation. Just reposition the keyframes to a different timestamp and then interpolate. I know this would be a more "classical" approach (where you design the animation before than "shooting"/making/drawing it).
Why doesn't anyone ever say what to do at the end of blender tutorials? HOW DO U GET IT OUT OF BLENDER AS AN ANIMATION? How do u get an image out of blender as an image, not a preview?
It's weird that no one's talking about this. It's definitely not FREE, if you have to pay for it. This is like a free demo version and that's it. It's still something you have to pay for, if you want a decent one shot recording.
You can use Key -> Density -> Clean and Key -> Density -> Decimate in Graph editor to clean keyframes
man your tutorial is amazing. The trick of Mixamo addon is a life saver

Thank you so much! Means a lot
like alaways... I find out about a challenge right before it ends
Damn, should have postes it a bit sooner…
is very insteresting the smooth all the keyframe, thanks for information.
You are simply goooooood
Wow this is so nice
thank you very much for this. very helpful
you the goat
You're fuKING great

Is your character sculpted in t-pose? If the rest pose of your character isn’t the t-pose it sometimes turns out a little funky
Doesn't appear as if you can import video anymore. :(

How well does this capture movement through space
nice to seeing this tutorial . thanks bro, but how to solve the hand movement , only on glove capture?
I wish this could work on splatoon models!!!
i cant open rokoko studio, its keep updating then closed, i try find the exe on my d drive, i only find rokoko updater
WHICH IS THE BEST BETWEEN ROKOKO AND DEP MOTION?

Or just using addons that have animation layers/NLA editor
That’s a great idea! Guess I didn’t think of that, thank you!
I CANT EVEN LUNCH the damn studio just some random updater app pops up and does nothing
Subbed!! Do you have a full tutorial on how you did the animation?
I don’t have a full tutorial I’m afraid, but I’m glad you liked it!
@@Animatable Please tell Me how you do that bottle animation and pickup animations
I only have the first 3 sidebars (Item, Tool and View), how can I add the others?

super cool! This Rokoko AI mocap have a foot lock feature? If not, I think I'll stick with Plask AI.
Yeah it got foot lock
@@Animatable Awesome! So I'll try it. thanks for sharing this!
Can Rokoko mocap a video that has multiple person?
i have a doubt that! Can we mocap the scene like sit to stand
pls make with cloth

Why would you need to know how to render an image lol it’s the most basic thing you can find in any beginner tutorial
How can you get the bone list? I add the animation with the model using the rokoko add on and the list is blank
Cadê o tutorial do spider man ?
Instead of deleting keyframes, why not just put your leg a bit higher and your arms a bit wider in your recording?
I’m struggling to combine two rokoko animations on a character in blender, how do I do it?
How did you animate the face in the final animation?
it only records a few seconds, its useless
Hmm that’s just not true, but try to watch a tutorial on the subject. You can also merge the animation together

Nothing's free if you gotta sign in
That’s a fair point
Jesus loves you all
❤
🥱ok 🍻
Not free, for import custom models/skeletons from other programs = useless for me ...
You have to use rokoko addon to import that animation to your model or the skeleton which you want to move like the motion captured animation
