The ominous music is a dead giveaway of lurking danger. This film shows a fine example of a typical Asian home in 1980s Britain. What the film doesn't mention is that the foam used in upholstery at the time was not only highly flammable, but emitted cyanide gas as it burned, killing people almost instantly. Adventure playgrounds, like the one in the film, used to be considered a fantastic way to let children develop their skills. But the rise of extreme litigation, and the desire to eliminate every possible hazard, caused them to be shut down. There used to be one at Harbourfront, in Toronto, Canada, but it met the same fate.
I love the intro so cleverly done clock ticking seasons sounds and grandfather chiming the effects is spot on central couldn't have done any better it would have took ages for the seasons for a couple of seconds and the calendar months more than likely on a black background.
Not just a programme for schools...but a Public Information Message in itself. Deffo should bring back the original format of the PIF as we know it.

Parents have become overprotective and soft.
Well, the chunky clock on the TV is present and correct, all that's needed is the suitcases on top of a wardrobe.
Thank you for this and the bonus material
Our pleasure!
Scary!
Was this repeated in the 90s
Each episode had 3 transmissions per year for eight years. So it was shown 24 times in all.
