Gionis in first 2sets sudden attacks on other players" services and counter attack shots are fast low and accurate. He must continue the other sets like those.
Грек на голову сильней, сразу видно и тактически переиграл уходя в оборону, изматывая Диму, заставляя поднимать мяч и в нападении немного поточней (это мое сугубо личное мнение), а Дима молодец.

To clean off the powder that comes with a new ball. Most players don't put it in their mouths though.. That's just a habit of Dima's (hope he stopped doing that after covid 😅)

may be for softening the ball, just for feeling, sometimes you see some players blow the ball, xu xin also, but put the ball in mouth not hygienic :D

@@leandro24k94 cuando el contrincante esta como demasiado motivado y le sale cada movimiento, lo usan para enfriarlo, es una competencia al fin y al cabo, y este tipo de cosas existen. A Ma Long le dieron una tarjeta amarilla por esto mismo, se demoro demasiado en iniciar.

The ranking is determined by his performance against other top players. If he has a high ranking it means he's better than most top players. If he was bad, he would lose to more players and be lower in the ranking

Мяч действительно нужно протирать, но почему спиртом)? Обычной водой достаточно, например из бутылки воды для питья. Это понимают все, не только Овчаров. Но брать в рот грязный мяч в тальке((.., он бы еще помочился на него. Неужели нельзя заранее подготовить несколько мячей на этот случай? Я иногда поражаюсь этим спортсменам.

Dima serves and Gionis hits the ball with the edge of the ball breaking it. The point should be replayed (LET). Dima explains the situation to the referee, telling her that the ball broke during the rally and that the score should be 5-2. I hope that makes sence.
Gionis was fair by willing loosing the point to get 5:3 instead of 5 : 2 in favor of dima.

@@xenzomi1321 Correct, but why doesn't the referee change the ruling...? Well, this is because of an ancient rule that says that a point can NEVER bee reversed and played again. ?????!!!!! I know it's bonkers, but that's the truth. But I don't care about this when I'm judging... of cource a point can by replayed, I've seen it done in the olympics even, so why not in minor tournaments...?
