Did you know that both Vladimir and Dimitrij became world's number 1. Vladimir in his prime became the best in the world (No. 1) on December 1999 meanwhile Dimitrij Ovtcharov became the world's number 1 on January 2017. This clash between the two legends happened in Baku, Azerbaijan year 2015, 15 yeas after Vlad became number 1, 2 years before Dima became Number 1. You can read more details in the video description.

Ovtcharov became No. 1 only because the top Chinese players were pulled off from international competitions by the Chinese TT management around that time for some fiasco

Vlad got his first wr.no1 on Nov 1997 and kept it for a whole year. Then got several times between 1998-2000. Ovtcharov only got it for 3 months and was because of ranking system changing. Not even comparable.

Самсонов плохой актер неумело поддавался всю игру. Противно смотреть такие договорные встречи.
Полностью договорный матч! Самсонов на порядок превосходит в мастерстве. По первой партии было явно видно, когда он вел 8:0 и слил подряд восемь очков, позор Белорусам и Самсонову в частности, легли под Германию.
