These have just been reduced to £799 in the UK, i bought the ES345 a couple of months ago which is excellent but these are incredibly well specd for the current price, I'm thinking of getting one.
They’re really unlike any other 335 on the market right now. So unique and elegant looking. I’m in an 80’s cover band and just used mine to play Sweet Child O Mine lol. This thing can rip
@bigkev705 it's very Keith Richards, it's a cool guitar I play rock ac/dc, the who, coolest guitar epiphone have ever made at current sale price it's got to be worth a punt.
I bought the same one from Sweetwater a year ago in black (they told me 150 were made for them in black), it’s a great sounding and playing guitar. Mine is just under 10 pounds, but it’s very well balanced sitting or standing and has a very chunky neck. I have an R8 Les Paul and the neck on the Ubukata feels even bigger, although I haven’t measured it with calipers yet. I wanted a 355 but didn’t want to pay for a Gibson right now, and this more than fit the bill…it honestly sounds as good as my Gibsons (and looks pretty great!). I’ve been really happy with mine too. Congrats and enjoy!
Congratulations! The fully bound historic Epiphone Kalamazoo headstock with real MPO logo and full-size split-diamond inlays look stunning. The tone is to die for! 👍🏼
I absolutely love mine. It was ok out of the box, but once I let an amazing tech do the set up it became outstanding. But with the new release of the Gibson/Epiphone custom es355, I have to see how it compares. Hope to get one next month. My heart is telling me there won’t be much difference
Like I said in the video, I’m grateful for the Plek setup that Sweetwater did. Well worth the money! I was not a fan of the large pick guard on the new 355, but they seem like great guitars.
I kind of expected that. Even though it’s listed as a rounded C, I don’t think Epi knows how to make a rounded C neck, lol. Still want one though. It’s maybe the best looking 335/355 I’ve ever seen. Has every feature I’d have gone with if I could spec one out (bigsby, block inlays, diamond f holes). And looks killer in black. Congrats
Beautiful guitar, congrats. I'm about to pull the trigger on one as well but can't decide on a color. I was thinking maybe the olive drab like Cornell's but the black is looking really nice.
I bought one sent it back after 3 days aside from all the bad frets too uneven and fret sprout. Quality control is pathetic with the more expensive ones than the cheaper epiphones. Felt cheap like a Chinese knockoff as well.
I’m sorry you had such a horrible experience with yours. I likely would’ve done the same had mine been in a similar condition. $1100 is a lot of money to spend on a suboptimal product.

Just received the olive green model from Peach Guitars in the UK for £799, it's a great guitar.

Love mine it has easily become my #1
Mine is my number 2. Fell in love with a telecaster 😩

i want to get one but i feel like it will be too big but im going to try one before i think about paying the money for it
Nice review. Is the neck a round C or is it more of a flattened D (or some call it a U) like a lot of Epiphones?
I would say it’s more like a D. It’s very similar to the slim taper 60’s neck on my Les Paul. I was expecting a thicker neck, but I’m not mad 👍🏼

@@poesybeatthanks man! And I agree with you wholeheartedly. What an axe!

@@Jethlin2020 I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the color choices available! I’m digging the black ⚫️

Sounds like you got the gibson accidentally 😂
