I am a pharmacist, disabled at 45 from a failed back surgery with suicidal nerve pain. After a trial test of the implant to block pain signals by 80% , I was very excited to have that surgery. Tragically for me, the surgeon bruised my spinal cord causing incomplete paraplegia. I was just wondering how someone like me who really needs help and is suffering is also the one who can’t afford it? It’s just sad.

Surgical Stainless Steel water bottles are excellent.
Saladmaster cookware is made out of surgical stainless steel.
Fluoride filter for the shower head now exists, it didn’t exist before. A 45 minute shower is equivalent to drinking the recommended amount of water per day, essentially it is best to have filtered water.

    For those complaining:
Electrolytes are essential for basic life functioning, such as maintaining electrical neutrality in cells and generating and conducting action potentials in the nerves and muscles. Significant electrolytes include sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium, calcium, phosphate, and bicarbonates. Electrolytes come from our food and fluids.
These electrolytes can be imbalanced, leading to high or low levels. High or low levels of electrolytes disrupt normal bodily functions and can lead to life-threatening complications

if your scared to lower your electrolites try making a sole solution with celtic sea salt ( fill a jar with 1/3 of celtic sea salt and top it of with water. shake until no more salt dissolves. that means the water is saturated. then put the jar in the fridge or a dark place don't touch it for 24 hours. then you can add a tablespoon of the solution in your water 1 or 2 times a day.) this will top up your electrolites.

My mom in Germany alerted me last year that San Pellegrino water has been found to actually be quite contaminated with radiation. If you want to trust the purity of water, German waters are highly regulated.
As far as acidity is concerned, I used test strips to test the waters I drink. The only two that were in balanced range was Gerolsteiner and Mountain Valley Spring Water from the US, the still version. The sparkling version is acidic. That's because of the added carbonation.

Hi Doc. I've heard many years ago that plastic bottles are bad for you. Thank you for clarifying that. However, the filters and pipes used in the reverse osmosis filtration units, are all made from plastic. Further to that, the reservoir tank also contains a rubber bladder in which the water is stored temporarily until used.
Then there are the huge plastic reservoir tanks many households in my region are making use of due to intermitted water outages.
So, if we take into consideration all these plastic components, are plastic drinking bottles really the only contributor to adverse health effects?

Moved to the US as a kid so I have to distinct relationships with water. As a kid I knew exactly where my water came from, the sky. We collected rain water, used it for everything. Living in the US I have no idea where my water comes from or what's in it. Same for food, almost everything was grown at the house. Benefits of a farmer grandparent. Some other countries people are dying for water or making geopolitical moves for it. In America it might kill you if you're not careful.

S.Pellegrino is owned by Nestle. This bottled water is comparatively high in fluoride.
"According to the water quality report, S.Pellegrino sparkling natural mineral water contains 0.47 ppm of fluoride. This would rank S.Pellegrino with some of the highest fluoride levels among the 178+ brands found at bottled water without fluoride. In fact, there are very few with more fluoride (Crystal Geyser and Arrowhead are the only ones that come to mind)."

Not everyone can afford to eat organic, not everyone can afford San Pellegrino.and now you’re saying to not drink tap or bottled water. I live in an Apartment, and can’t change the filtration system. Result: The carbonation dropped the PH by about 2 points. My solution was to add very small amounts of baking Soda to end up with the carbonated water with a PH of 7. I never use their products as I insist on making my own flavors from just enough various fruits, herbs and spices. I also only use Stevia as a sweetener. Does not get healthier that that. I am barely 5'2" tall and just under 90 lbs. In the summer of 2021 blood work showed I was dehydrated, so I started making myself drink 2.5 liters of water a day. (on top of other liquids) Well, in April when I needed blood drawn, my blood would NOT come out. The nurse said, "You're dehydrated." I was like, "WTF?! Where is it going?!" So, for a while I've been making myself drink 1 gallon of water a day. I hate it! But my body seems to need it. Where is the water going?! The water here in New Mexico is AWFUL and I do buy reverse osmosis water now.

    • @rayandee7540
      @rayandee7540 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

The amount of water is flushing out the salt in your body. The salt is what holds water inside your body. As you keep flushing the salt out....your body becomes unable to keep any of the water inside all your cells....so it just goes in and goes right out. Hence the dehydration. Ironic right?! You need to add salt back to be able to keep the water inside your body. Another side effect is that you arent just flushing out all the salt, all the minerals that your body needs are getting flushed out as well. You need to add an electrolytes supplement with the water you are drinking. Good luck
A mix of sodium, magnesium, potassium, should help.

I think we have become spoiled to expect a drink be so specially tasty just for us, plain water is really great! I swear I wasnt allowed soda growing up and when ppl complimented my teeth I would tell them I didn't have soda or coffee!
