    This is genius. I can feel how Herbie Hancock has build his own style on this basic and fondamental principle of voice leading. Thank you Master Kenny Werner you are amazing.

    at 7:30 when voicing over half steps from a->g#, b>c, e>eb, g#>g: what chord are we coming from and where are we going to?

    Sounds to me like the message of this video is that you could assemble any set of chords together and it will sound good as long as you make sure that each voice only moves a half step or a whole step at the most

      And "believing" they will sound good. Playing them as music.

    It feels a bit painful to see the great Kenny Werner making a jazz masterclass for some people who don't even know the tune My Romance. RIP today's jazz education...
