A zen master applying ancient techniques to music and as a consequence all of life. This should be the future of all education within music and without music. Great job KW. Non-duality applied to teaching.
Keith Jarrett and Kenny seem to both come from this space. It makes a lot of sense especially after you’ve shedded the essentials for some time. Imagine Keith without all his internalized harmonic knowledge, wouldn’t be quite the same when he jumps into this space. Kenny’s on point but I wouldn’t misinterpret the idea of thinking while playing as a good thing. I prefer to focus on music not thoughts but often thoughts appear and the music must continue to flow without “engaging” in the thoughts. I think that’s what he’s doing with the 2nd exercise. Zen 🕉
Thank you for providing these supplements to your book, Kenny! I had to abandon music in my early twenties and am recovering from a lifelong chronic illness (auto-immune disease). While I used music to help me through some incredibly difficult times, it is also associated with immense stress and anxiety. I have so much music I want to share with the world, your book has been essential for rehabilitating my relationship with music so I can connect more deeply not just with music but also with others through music. Greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. I feel so fortunate to have found your book and feel so fortunate that you took the time to write it.
Hello, i have read the book just like you, and I tried to understand the exercice in this video, but my English is kind of bad and I didn't understood everything, could you please help me to have it well ? :)

Still waiting ?
This video is helpful as fuck for a guitarist. I read his book but heard no practical teachings tailored to my instrument, so this is sick!
