Outside of JRPGs, I’m so excited for Ever17’s rerelease. If you’ve never played it, it’s an incredible game and they do some neat things with the visual novel medium. JRPG-wise? I’m excited for Yumia, Graces F, Sky 1st, and Suikoden 1&2.
I say it everytime I comment on here. Atelier is my favorite series of all time. I’m beyond hype for Yumia. Expedition 33 is another one I’m excited for. And that first sky remake. I’ve always wanted to dip into the trails series and I think I might start when that releases
Legitimately getting Cairn day one because I can’t miss out on the SRPG of the year! You really sold me with the “SCOTTISH!” Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is my most anticipated by far. Very intrigued by Atelier Yumia since I’ve never played the series. And Lost Souls Aside would be incredible to see an actual release finally 😅. What a great year ahead!
Hi. I just did a video on my little french Channel about 55 RPG (japanese, western and french) that looked good and should be released on 2025. I thought i've covered everything but you made me discover Cairn maithers curse and Lost Soul Aside, they seem great. Great video, thanks for your work !
@@chickenfillets Thanks, it wont blow up or anything but i got some views. It's fun to see what will happen next year and thanks to you, i know even more ^^
Monster Hunter Wilds, Dynasty Warriors Origins, excited to play Trails in the Sky for the 1st time in the action combat mode, Ghost of Yotei, Expedition 33, Eternal Strands, and Wuchang: Fallen feathers are the 2025 games I'm excited for. Beyond 2025, Onimusha and Okami Sequel are hype for me.
I'm ready to start my Trails journey. Also want to try an Atelier game, and Yumia looks to have a story with some bite. I do love CrossCode. And I Claire Obscura has my attention. I'm also looking forward to replaying the original Dragon Warrior if the HD2D remake comes out next year. (Also want to try the Lunar games)
Hey John, that nice, ton of good games, I would add for sure FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, really loved the first one! And the HD-2D Dragon quest 1 and 2!
I'm hyped on Expedition 33, Suikoden 1&2 Remastered Collection (I've never played a Suikoden game), Tales of Graces f Remastered, Lunar Remastered Collection, Trails in the Sky 1st chapter & now thanks you Threads in Time too. But I'm most hyped about Yakuza Pirates in Hawaii. I know it isn't a JRPG, but it is a japanese game.
Oh man an I excited for Trails FC remaster... Estelle is the best! Alabaster Dawn looks great. I still need to play Crosscode... Don't tell FeitoGaming. Threads of Time man.... There's so little to see in that trailer and everyone is so ridiculously hyped. I'm reserving judgement until I see a LOT more. A Scottish guy talking about a Scottish game by a Scottish developer in Scotland???? Insanity! Clair Obscure looks great! The story seems really new and rad. Quartet, Shrines Legacy, possibly My Familiar, these are others I'm sorry excited about.
rn the three games I'm looking forward to the most are definitely 1. Guardians of Azuma - have never been into Rune Factory but I was sold immediately by the trailer 2. Hundred Line Academy - idk about the gameplay for this one but I love Danganronpa with every fiber of my being so at the very least I know it will keep me entertained 3. Atelier Yumia - love the series and this looks like an awesome evolution of it. Alabaster Dawn looks great... I liked CrossCode but I like AD's aesthetic and vibes much better so far! I also think I talked about Trails of Time in your comments once. it looks insanely good but also man it is really copying Chrono Trigger lol. well hey if you're gonna copy anyone Xenoblade is my favorite series but for whatever reason I don't feel the need to immediately pick up X. I think because so much of the gameplay seems to be about customizing your skells and all that and honestly it has never looked interesting to me. I have watched multiple playthroughs before but I really feel like a fake Xenoblade fan because of this lmao. I'm sure I'll get it eventually I'm very Trails'ed out but Sky 1st is like one of my favorite games ever and it looks stunning and a ton of fun.
Thanks for including Cairn! Great list, I hadn't heard of Threads of Time but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. Looks like you've got a busy year ahead! 😄
Easily the game I am most looking forward to is Trails in the Sky First Chapter. I have wanted to play the Sky games for a long time, but I am not a pc player so steam is out. And I tried the psp version on the Vita, but, considering I'm already in my 40s, I was concerned with damaging my eyes if I read it all on such a small screen. Throw in the fact that graphics is a big part of the experience for me, and I'm really looking forward to the remake. It looks incredible. Also I have to say thank you for reminding me about Fate Extra Record. I had almost forgotten about it, since it hasn't been mentioned in a while. As a big fan of the Fate series, I'm also really looking forward to it.
What 2025 release are you hyped for?
Suikoden 1 & 2 Remastered
Atelier Yumia

trails through daybreak 2
@raptyaxa5771 I'm currently playing the first daybreak so looking forward to the second one!
Currently most excited for Xenoblad Chronicles X and Trails in the Sky. It's gonna be a good year already
Oh it's absolutely gonna be awesome!
I haven’t even heard of at least half of these! I’ll have to keep an eye out for them now.
So many awesome games coming out!
I have been waiting for Lost Soul Aside for years because I found it on a reddit post about someone asking for games like Versus XIII
It's just insane how long it's taken haha!
I say it everytime I comment on here. Atelier is my favorite series of all time.
I’m beyond hype for Yumia. Expedition 33 is another one I’m excited for. And that first sky remake.
I’ve always wanted to dip into the trails series and I think I might start when that releases
Yeah I remember you saying! It's gonna be great!!!! I think you'd love the trails series

SCOTTISH!!!!
Cairn is gonna be a banger. The developer Ross is cooking up a storm with it!
Great list! I’ll probably buy most of these
Thank you! That's awesome!
A cool list of JRPGs and I always appreciate them coming off of older consoles to be given a new lease of life!
All the games!!!
Heck yeah, Expedition 33 being our number 1 best for last pick 💪
Gonna be awesome!!!
Great video! They all look great. I'm hight interested in Clair Obscure and Fate/ Extra Record but I will probably try to check out all the games 😊
Thanking you! 😁 Yeah it's gonna be another cracking year!

I'm making my 2025 video soon and there are soooo many games coming out! Gonna be great!
So many amazing games!!!

Hahahaha I won't tell Luca about you not playing CROSSCODE ;)
This is my first time hearing about Scottish developed Earthbound-like. Adding it to wishlist now.
The demo is really good fun as well!
I'm hyped for fantasy life the girl who steal time and of course expedition 33
Oh I totally forgot about that one!!
Expedition 33 has been given a Spring 2025 release window, so my guess would be late May.
Amazing!!!
2025 looking good! i only wish valkyria chronicles also had more entries.
Maybe that could change in 2025!!
rn the three games I'm looking forward to the most are definitely

Oh I'm gonna have to look up Guardians of Azuma, not heard of it! Yeah I get that with Trails!
Lets go trails remake
Yasss!!!
Suikoden and lunar are on my hitlist personally
Amazing choices!
have you tried elin demo? you should try it!!
Oh I still need to actually!
what do u mean by bring turn base to the masses? Atlus has been doing that for DECADES
That's correct they have, in my eyes loads of games are all going action based. So it's good to see turnbased getting a focus :)
Thanks for including Cairn! Great list, I hadn't heard of Threads of Time but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. Looks like you've got a busy year ahead! 😄
Anytime my dude! It's gonna be awesome!
The only correct answer is Xenoblade X 🐻
🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻
It's alllll about Monster Hunter Wilds for me lol
Yassss!
Fate anime, why does saber always win or why is she always the main character?
No idea! Good game though!
I thought Humble Games went out of business? Regardless, all of these look like they'll be great!
I didn't even know this haha! Nah they seem to alive and kicking from what I can see! But agreed all look amazing!
Stellar Blade for Steam which also means steam deck :}
A nice Stellar Blade, that's fine.
Don’t forget to play tales of rebirth ps2 English translation it is very good
Oh good call!
The Scottish game looks like fun, atelier games triedit 2 times, but fell asleep.
It's gonna be a good one! There's a demo out as well!
@@chickenfillets thanks for reminding, i will download it.

Yeah I get this with the eye sight! I wear glasses for the screens! But yeah Trails in the Sky remake will be such a good move for the series!!!
