Is the remote battery going to survive the cold temperatures? Logitech controller that I received with the Snowbot stopped working on the cold weather.

How much snow is too much for this machine. I live in Maine, so a significant amount of snow can fall in a single storm. Do the sensors on the front of the blower still work with snow on them?
