I love the trimmer idea and have been working on a diy robot just for that. I wanted something that didn't use plastic so I am planning to use a wired brush that normally is used on a drill for removing rust. I am also working on a swinging arm that would cut around things like light poles, fire hydrants, stop signs, the house walls and I planned to have a esp32 camera set behind some plexiglass on it to look for green spots in the sidewalk as well. I can't wait to see how you tackle things like that. I love robotics and I'm excited to see your robot grow.

Can I bring the yarbo to my off-grid cottage for the weekend, even if I don't have wifi and cellular signal? Will I need to bring the antenna from my house with me to the cottage?

I have a family off-grid cottage that doesn't get cell signal. Can I bring my Yarbo from home to the cottage and still use it to plow snow or cut the grass with the remote or the Bluetooth fonction? I would recharge it when we start the generator in the evening.

When I blow snow manually, I take wind into consideration and my pattern and discharge chute, and angle may change based on the wind direction and speed. I assume that I can have 4 different maps and run the one that would work best with today's wind. If the Yarbo blows the snow over the area that has already been cleared, my neighbors will laugh at me.

It was advertised on the website before I purchased mine that the yarbo was going to be able to be used with VR. One out eventually happens that'll be cool. I have a quest three headset that I could use if and when they ever implement it. It would also help when I want to remotely operate the Yarbo while I'm away on one of my 5 days out in a semi truck. Currently if you use the controller remotely it's hard to see the cameras and the controller on the screen at the same time. If we are was available I could just put the VR headset on and control it as long as there's some sort of pass-through at the bottom of the screen to view the phone. I'm tempted now to get some drones and view everything they record from VR.

Neighbor bought one in November, I thought "cool". Then I watched him get stuck with it over and over through December. I blast through my drive with my two stage (northern Michigan). While seeing him only partially done with his driveway. He now has a two stage similar to mine... Save your money, and get some exercise while getting the job accomplished a lot faster with a walk behind..

Does it ever have overheating problems with the battery? Not a deal breaker just curious. My Ryobi 40v Snow blower will do great for a while but after about an hour it will turn off and make me turn it back on for about 3 seconds and then it shuts off again. That will happen till the batterys are low and need charging.

It got to 20% battery level it did not return to charge it just stopped and stayed there, even after cancelling the work plan, and pressing charge, it did not move, I had to return it manually to the base station, gps signal was fine. Yarbo?

Mine just almost ran me over with the settings on high 😅 Also, there has got to be a easier way to make pathlines than to drive the rover. It takes forever around a large property.
