It's so fucking sad, this guy had nothing but pure passion for everything Nintendo and would have rather had happy people playing his games and using his technology than fame and money any day. He had what few people in this industry have anymore and that's respect for his products, his employees, his business, and most importantly his customers.
I am not ashamed to say this video made me cry and I am not that much of a Nintendo fan.
Goodbye Iwata, you shall be greatly missed, the world is a darker place without you. Rest in piece my friend.

SuperYtc1 saying what you said does not mean you have 'balls' in fact saying it whilst hiding behind your keyboard means you have none.

No I shouldn't, and you shouldn't either. You're clearly just going out of your way to find something offensive about the video despite the fact there was no intent made to make anybody feel offended.
Just look back at the video and you'll clearly see the majority of people who commented/rated the news video don't care about the music.

If there is an after-life I can see Iwata and Yokoi walking next to each other laughing and enjoying the memories of the legacies they left behind. First Yokoi dies of a car accident and now Iwata dies of cancer. Why must the nicest and most humble people die unnecessary deaths? They will never be forgotten and I hope future developers learn from their accomplishments. Thank you for everything you did for us Iwata, say hi to Gunpei for me.

I am not ashamed to admit that this made me cry. I didn't know him personally, but from seeing him on Nintendo Direct's, Iwata Ask's, and anything game related, you begin to understand him and truly realize that he has made a huge impact on our lives. He's practically the family member that we never had. He cared for his fans and employees more than any other CEO and has always had a smile on his face. It's going to be hard to find someone as extraordinary as Mr. Iwata to fill in his shoes. Thank you Mr. Iwata for everything. Rest in Peace Satoru Iwata.

Anybody who's disliking this has absolutely no soul and I personally hope you burn in hell.
Iwata's recent business decisions have been less than successful, but the impact he has had on the industry from being a developer himself all the way to the top will be felt for ages to come in the industry. There's very few more deserving of universal respect than Iwata.

Satoru Iwata has done so much for the great company of Nintendo. He programmed Earth Bound, created Kirby, Programed the battle mechanics of Pokemon Stadium, Made it possible to get Kanto in Pokemon Gold and Silver, even cut his pay check in half when Nintendo was going through a rough time instead of firing employees. Satoru Iwata was a great man that is well to be remembered. R.I.P. Mr. President.

Corrupted isn't the word, more so....become hollow. It lost it's heart and soul. The source of that Nintendo magic. Sure Miyamoto still has it, but he can't carry the entire company like Iwata did.

After watching this, I had felt sadness, but at the same time I knew Iwata would not have wanted us to mourn over his death, instead let's celebrate his life and all the times he has made us laugh and smile and continue to be happy while gaming, because that's what he would've wanted in his final moment. Goodbye, Iwata-san and thank you. For everything. RIP

i still can't get over the fact that Mr. Satoru iwata is really gone. you really created something very unique, atleast for me, Mr. Iwata. You created games that will always be in my heart, that changed my view on life. is it really about being successful? or is it about having fun, doing something with a burning passion, doing something because you WANT to do it? everything in my life is fueled by a passion, a passion to create something unique. i will never forget you, Mr. Satoru Iwata. i never knew him personally, and neither did he know me. but our lives still crossed in some kind of way, through technology, through the creations he did - and i played them, with my friends, with my parents, and even with my son.
thank you, mr. satoru iwata. thank you for being one of us, for being a gamer. thank you nintendo for showing me the world of gaming, which is now a very big and important part of my life.

I feel so heart sick. We criticize him so much for not being successful with the Wii U that we forgot how unique he was and what crucial part he played in bringing us such special games and experiences. I feel like such a fool. I'm sorry, Mr.Iwata. You deserved more respect than I could ever give you.
