That's an interesting tour to do, for sure! I've been to SE Asia but, unfortunately, never been to Vietnam yet.

Vietnam is wonderful. So much to explore there.

Oh, so many great memories! I loved Hanoi and the food culture (like everywhere in Vietnam) is just amazing. But I see you didn't go for the dog ;-)

I would never knowingly eat dog. If they were raised specifically for eating it would be one thing, but I've heard too many horror stories of missing family pets. Dogs AND cats. :(

I love this simple and enriching style of life. The food is amazing and everyday is a new culinary experience there.

Looks like such a chaotic and busy street. How did you get around Hanoi? The food looks super authentic (of course) and so good!

It IS chaotic. I took taxis, which was challenging due to language and scam potential and I tried a couple of tri-shaw guys, but you really need to be on the alert when using them. One minute I think I've completed negotiations to get from point A to point B and the next minute I'm wondering why I am sightseeing in the opposite direction. If an argument starts about any new payment, the best advice is to recommend for them to call the police. And NEVER pull out your money within arms reach of a tri-shaw or taxi driver. #traveltip

This looks like a fun and different tour to enjoy with the local dishes and history, getting to experience life in Vietnam.

I love Vietnamese food and my cousin was just in Hanoi last year, she can't stop raving about it. I'd love to go there too, and doing a food tour is definitely a must for me so thank you for recommending Tony Sang. I'll connect with him should I find myself there.

I am so hungry now. Love food tours and this is exactly my dream of Hanoi. That fruit soup had my mouth watering! Great music and loved the dreamy, slow ending. Lovely video.

My parents, brother, and sister in law went on a similar tour last year when they visited Vietnam and it was one of the highlights of their trip. I think food tours are a super fun way to get acquainted with a new destination. I love meeting and interacting with all the locals and the food is always interesting and unique. So far the Czech Republic was my favorite food tour, although Ethiopia comes in at a close second. We are partial to Ethiopian though.

This was actually the first food tour I had ever taken, but I'm a huge fan of them now. Any opportunity to learn about a destination's local food is a must.

Oh man I really miss Vietnamese food! So difficult to find over here in Europe. At least the old centre of Hanoi is on the World Heritage list, so I'll definitely be back at some point!

Ahhh yes this food tour has me hungry. Vietnamese food is fantastic. There is a great Vietnamese restaurant here in Toronto that I LOVE...humph come to think of it I haven't been there in a while...

Vietnamese is my favorite food and I recently found a rare tiny cafe in Ipoh, Malaysia. I was so excited and my mouth was watering... and OMG it was the most disgusting 'Vietnamese' food I have ever tasted. I'm not sure if pork liver pho is a specialty dish, but when I ordered the pork pho I assumed it would include the same delicious slices of meat as the menue's photos. They couldn't even get the spring rolls right. :P

Hanoi looks so crazy but that food looks amazing and to eat the street food is definitely on my Vietnam Bucket List!

It's delicious and super cheap. Win win!
