Without furring strips to provide an air gap between the reflective foil and interior paneling, the foil becomes conductive, essentially negating its insulative capacity. Also, there does not appear to be any attempt at proper ventilation. There should be an intake vent above the heater and an outlet just below the bench at the far corner.
Fantastic , the Sauna looks amazing

Great video with the exception of the most obnoxious music!
Please no music/noise distraction.
Turn your sound down
Too late lol
That was music?
Any concern with pine not lasting a long time? Also did you leave any space for ventilation between the foil and the boards?
I only watch videos on preview with subtitles so not bothered by the music. You don't get any adverts either
Nice build! What are the dimensions of the sauna? And what sauna heater did you use? Cheers!
Thanks! It is 2.2m wide x 1.2m deep. There is a list of parts used on this page here

can we please have a follow up video of how the pine has held up over the 2 years?
That’s a good idea! I’ll do one and also show the other sauna I built in the original summer house 7 years ago too.
What size heater did you end up using? 3kw? Strong enough for that size sauna?
@@JF-kb6bl we used a 4.5kw. A 3kw would be ok but may take a bit longer to get to temp.
Could you use a glass shower door as the door ?
Hmm I don’t know to be honest. Depends what type of door I guess. I don’t see why not. You wouldn’t want one with any metal handles etc.
I cannot stop dancing while watching this. 🤣
Do you have to step over the board to get out the side door or am I seeing it wrong
Hi. It’s just a window at the side. The only door in. Is at the front. 👍🏻
Cool video!
did you use basalt wool?
Hello. It was rockwool
How thick are the tongue wand groove boards for the walls?
Hello. They were 21mm. I think they may have been these. www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-PTG-Timber-Floorboards---21mm-x-137mm-x-2400mm---Pack-of-5/p/178236
no ventilation, no air space between wall and ceiling boards
There is ventilation and space. See vents at 5.36 above door. There is also another vent on the side.
Is the foot bench adjustable?
Yes. You can slide it backwards and forwards if needed. It’s usually stays in the same position tho!
Pine worked ok?
Yep all good for a much cheaper alternative. Occasionally you might get some sap on a knot but not a problem.
Music is so distracting.
This music is torture
Man… the music / robot AI voice made me have to stop watching halfway through.
Same here. Idiotic.
I want to give it 300 thumbs down. Unfortunately this is the direction things are going ...this horrible , horrible AI created B.S.
glue is never good for a sauna build!
It will work.
Sure... 😒😒😒
Lose the horrible music!!!
What the fuck is a millimeter
Didn’t watch because of music. Wow.
