The funny thing about the Ed, Edd, and Eddy one is that the theorist failed to consider that the different coloured tongues could be a result of the artificial colouring in candy.
yes! it was even debunked by the producers that the colored tongues were inspired by their kids eating different colored candy

nah man thats just boring. their coloured tongues obviously indicate that they lick frogs to get high and all the episodes are just them being high as fuck in a room imagining all those things. their addiction comes from childhood trauma (you can insert any you want with any ridiculous explanation). cant be just candy, there always has to be a deeper meaning.

Honestly, i think the sonic theory makes the most sense to me personally. They had to have a reason for that awful design in the first trailer and this theory pretty much puts two and two together.

@AlphaSpook yea, i agree with you, the sonic theory is actually false, it was no genius move or anything like that, the design we saw at first, was actually the original design, and the one they were going with, but after the backlash, they changed it, you can even see in the cgi, how the new looks less polished than the old one, even the company that made the animations broke at the end for changing the design at last minute, and like you said, the toys and posters with the original design that existed before the first trailer came out
One problem: toys. Most of the toys from this movie have the old design and that pretty much disproves the entire theory
or people simply made bad design choices and were smart enough to listen when people said "wait thats ugly". its not that deep or conspiratorial.

I've heard the Pooh theories before, but geez...it still hits hard. As a kid, I actually thought Eore was sad because he had a traumatic childhood.
Pooh getting banned in China for being him had resemblance to President Xi was so skin deep, there is nothing to be offended for it.
Well, I came from a culture of tolerance, and racism or ethnic slurs were common.
I always thought that Eeyore was just sad cause his house kept falling down and he has his tail literally NAILED onto his butt.
But I guess he could have also had a sad childhood.

The only thing is that most of the diagnosis attributed to the characters weren't actually existing diagnosis at the time pooh was written.
Book Eeyore is also a lot more sarcastic and almost mean than the show.
9:37 This theory is actually debunked by the fact that the redesign itself shut down an entire studio and layed off a ton of people. There was also toys being made for the original design and the new design had little to no toys because the change was made so quickly. The original design only looked like that because higher ups thought sonic should look like a real hedgehog for whatever reason.
It's amazing how many people still believe that theory.

But still, really cool to see it intrigued you enough to end up adding it in an interesting video like this one! I think the reason the Herobrine one was so good was the fact that it was made in a way that it was believable during the time. It didn't rely on shock value like Sonic.exe(which pretty much relied on the blood/gore being equated to scary). The concept of a rogue piece of code or paranormal entity haunting a player in the most subtle of ways brings a level of fear that's just strong enough to make you double check behind you as you sat at your desk. And it growing a community of people who were able to add onto it did wonders for its growth.
I'd say that's why Slenderman was so popular back in the day too. It was his subtlety, just a blurred figure in the back of grainy photos, something one could easily overlook if they weren't paying attention. And a fanbase that did an amazing job adding onto it that made it from a scary story, to an urban legend of sorts.
Of course, nowadays, living in the time where Slender is now heavily saturated and been torn apart by copy cats, and has been so heavily referenced, what charm he once had is now mostly been lost to time, and unfortunately I think Herobrine got that same treatment too. A niche community who was good on staying on the same page when it came to character building only last so long until the mainstream crew piles in an completely demolishes that harmony that kept the fear and mystery alive.
Herobrine was turned into a joke, and it really saddens me. The creepiness of him, thinking he could be real was something I enjoyed when I was younger. Now he’s just like any other creepy pasta that got memed to death

Same with Sonic.exe. Kinda sucks that both are poorly written as the Jeff the Killer "creepypasta", and his laugh stole Kefka's laugh from Final Fantasy VI. Even Notch debunked the Herobrine theory/creepypasta because he was the only child of his family.

I always heard the theory behind Ed, Eddie and Eddy was that it was a satirical outlook on drug addiction. Being the jawbreaker. They had no friends from all their scams. But this was driven by Eddy (who if you ever watched the movie) used to be abused by his big brother and his big brother introduced him to jawbreakers and scamming.

Muriel and Eustace have reacted to monsters, such as the snowman who drains Muriels essence or the biodome episode with the killer plants, but it's not often and I think it's more because they're oblivious. I think the Muriel is deaf theory makes more sense, at least, going by what we see in the show.
The theory isn’t that the monsters are completely made up..but that they’re normal people courage imagines as monsters! Kinda like when you see a jacket in a closet and mistake it for a monster in your closet as a kid, everyone else sees it’s a jacket but you in a moment of fear don’t realize that.
Thus they’re interacting with the “monsters” who aren’t actually monsters! Though some may be completely made up in his mind as no one else reacts to certain ones..

One of my favourite theories is Snow white cocaine addiction, if you think about it, the 7 dwarfs have their unique personalities witch are the same side effects of cocaine (aka the 7 stages of cocaine addiction "anger, love, sleepiness...") so it could be that the dwarfs are just representations of what snow white's addiction

I think the second Adventure Time theory is pretty farfetched but I just felt like the beginning of the episode Together Again is a good image of how messed up Finn was when Jake passed away. It's like his imaginations are disrupted by the reality of Jake's passing that Finn couldn't live through it anymore
10:32 the reason they have different colours tongues is because they eat jawbreakers you mentioned. jawbreakers make your tongue a different colour right
you see, the problem with animal crossing is that the whole "slave to the government" thing is actually really representative of real life. just symbolied/shown in a different way.
About the animal crossing one, in the earlier games. The villagers are often rude to the player, insulting them. You can talk back, but they will just continue to insult the player. So that could back up this theory, due to them not seeing you as an equal. As an example, look up ”Animal crossing rudeness.” They can be BRUTAL.
The Garfield theory always distrurbed me when I was young. It always made me incredibly uncomfortable and just gave me a feeling of sadness when I would read those comic strips.
the herobrine creepypasta was so scary for me as a kid because of the text at the bottom of the loading screen you occasionally would get while playing on the xbox 360 version where it says that he was "patched out" but there were signs of him existing

dude honestly when I first read that one garfield comic strip I felt so uneasy.

I once made a courage the cowardly dog theory similar to the one that’s mentioned, maybe it wasn’t a success but it was along the lines of him being born with terrible eyesight, and they really live in a town or near a town and that’s why there’s a lot of people. And not in the middle of nowhere. And every people he saw he saw them as a threat as he couldn’t see people well, and the reason why he did was his parents death
I made that theory maybe 3-5 years ago I don’t when it was exactly it had more depth to it and not the ones I mentioned(I think,not sure)
The Garfield comic strip I read in one of the comic strip compilation books they released of Garfield, and as a pretty small child, like six, it was the first time I think I genuinely felt that sense of fear of abandonment from a work of fiction.
It made me feel like when my dad first got arrested and I wondered why he was gone, and if it was my fault or not.

I started watching your videos a few days ago, ended up subscribing. I find it really surreal that there are actually TH-camrs that are my age. Usually when I see people who are successful, I usually assume that they are better than me in some aspect, or have more experience (Such as being older). I heard a theory that the 2016 Clown Sightings was a marketing ploy for the 2017 IT, but the studio that made the movie stopped associating with it due to violence within the pranks.

It was a historic neighborhood in the El Paso, Texas, right next to New Mexico. The husband, William, was described as not the nicest person. The wife, Margaret, was described as warm, friendly, caring, and also petite.

While at the Girl's side was quite depressing and quite dark. She had a friend at the beginning, and they were on a cruise ship. That ship fell into trouble and sank, the Girl the sole survivor of the incident. She was washed up on the village, where the village head gave her the rundown farm to start a new life.
The Girl's side was sad and dark, honestly.

I don't agree with the Adventure time theories, but that's just me. I've been rewatching it and there are so many points to prove that it isn't imagined, due to the fact that there was a massive nuke dropped and this is what the world became

The Sonic theory is false, and here's why
A: The merchandise for the movie was of the old design. If Sony was doing this for publicity then having their merch resemble the uglier design be a bad business move, as the merch would have to be updated leaving unsold products sitting in some warehouse losing money. This merch was also way before the backlash too as toy companies make their designs in advance so they can meet any demand or hype.
B: The studio that made the CGI for the Sonic movie actually put themselves in debt making the redesign and having to re--do whole chunks of the movie, if this was one big publicity stunt then they'd have the model on standby and the studio wouldn't be risking so much money like they did. Companies and businesses also cannot lie about how much money they lose or earn, as its illegal so I doubt that it was also a part of some publicity stunt.
C: The person who redesigned Sonic is Tyson Hesse (sorry if I'm mispelling his name) and as far as we know he was brought on board in _reaction_ to the backlash, and he's also a VERY big artist for Sega when it comes to Sonic (He's worked on Mania, the IDW comic, he's the Sonic artist everybody knows) and I doubt getting his services was cheap, and since they already had an artist on board designing Sonic getting another would be a big expense.
D: Sega has a history of being nicer to their fans compared to companies like Nintendo or EA, I don't doubt that they saw all the basklash from Sonic fans (aka: the main demographic of their movie) and probably put pressure on Sony to change the design, it also ties in to Tyson Hesse being brough on board as like said before he works for Sega.
I don't believe that it was a publicity stunt as the more you look into it the less that theory holds up.

Sonic was made by mpc, it's a huge company. My friends worked there when they were making Sonic. I can tell you the sonic theorie is 100% false. The designer was really nice and after the first release, he worked closely with the modeler to get it better for the fans.
Also the fact that's company would not lose money, you guys needs to know that all of these companies are actually in debt. Big brand such as Disney and Marvel are the holy grail, so every companies fight to have a contract with them, so they actually when Disney says "can you do it this movie for 2dollars" they will say yes, because it's good advertising for you studio tp make Avengers for example.

I’m destroyed by the Adventure time theory because the ending of Adventure time it probably means Finn passed away or woke up. And the two new adventurers are probably other kids who had similar stuff going on and similar fantasies. And I got even more destroyed because I remembered that Marceline is a vampire and they can only die by being burned by the sun, steak through the heart, or garlic (I think) and everyone had passed away of old age or something except for Marceline and BMO and Marceline and BMO had to witness all their friends die and Marceline probably ended her life out of sadness and BMO kept on living for their friends. I’m sorry if I just absolutely abolished your childhood
