    If you’re a Jeep enthusiast who loves going on nighttime drives regardless of the weather, you should get these Morimoto XB Projector LED Fog Lights for your 2018-2020 Jeep Wrangler JL. Using 3 high-intensity Nichia LEDs and a wide beam pattern, these fog lights can generate a wide beam of light that will let you clearly see objects several feet in front of you. The shell features an integrated assembly that lets you adjust the aim of the light beam for better overall lighting, even through rough weather conditions.
    These Morimoto XB Projector LED Fog Lights are designed to endure harsh off-road conditions thanks to its solid cast aluminum housing. High-impact polycarbonate lenses are used to keep rocks and debris from damaging the LEDs. With an IP67 waterproof rating and a black, powder-coated finish, the fog lights are kept protected against water, mud, rust, grime, and corrosion.
    Each Morimoto XB Projector LED Fog Light follows a strict manufacturing process to meet DOT standards. These fog lights are completely legal for street use in all states unless specified.

    Don’t bother taking off the bumper, start at 5:50 and replace the fogs that way, worked for me. Just turn the wheel to move the tire out of the way.

      That's what I was wondering watching this, and thanks. I've seen other install vids. that just removed the fog light covers, so I'm watching this saying 'why TF are they removing the entire bumper?'

      Yep same here. No need to remove the bumper at all.

    Front bumper does not need to be removed! If you don’t have a lift you can just turn the wheel and work on one side at a time. I have a lift at work, removed both front wheels and got it done in about 20 min.

    Isn’t that “bolt” you’re talking about the ADJUSTER SCREW for the lights? There was no mention of adjusting the lights properly, or at least making sure that piece was installed the same amount of turns back into the new lights. (Slight oversight). Fog lights are pretty useless if they are not shining low enough; below the fog line. Literally, I only think of this because 2 nights ago I had to readjust my lights down so they didn’t blind oncoming drivers.

      Its my favorite, honestly! I would have bought a Jeep that color if they had one on the lot. -Zach

    Is the cut at 10:54 where you don't show the connectors clicking together because the connector didn't fit? I just bought these for my Jeep and the connector is not plug and play. Just trying to figure out if they were modified in this video or not.

    $200 for fog lights? I bought Auxbeam 4 inch Led with halo fog lights on Amazon for $60! Too expensive

    Y'all couldn't show what the beam looks like on a wall or anything? Kind of important don't you think?

    i’m not a mechanic or anything but can’t you just take off the cover instead of taking off the whole bumper

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll have some more room to work with rather than being stuffed in the wheel well, but it's also to give you guys a better look at how to do it!

    Is that a sport model? What size tires are on this Jeep? Thanks! Love the Chanel.

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This *is* a Sport model! It's running 285/70R17s on 17x9s, without a lift. -Zach

    • @dangerk1412
      @dangerk1412 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you guys re-gear it with those wheels? I think stock is 3.43. If not, how does it run power wise

    • @dangerk1412
      @dangerk1412 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      3.43 sorry. Ha

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope! Regardless of transmission, going up to that 285/70 isn't going to make too much of a difference with the stock 3.45 gears. If you have a 6-Speed 3.6L you may notice the larger tire a little bit more, but the 8-Speed automatic handles it almost perfectly. I'd only be concerned with gears if you move up to a 34" or 35" tire. -Zach

    The removal and installation of new fog lights is not an easy job. Jeep could’ve made access to the lights much more simple but I guess they have their reasons

    • @Luwinkle

      The worst part, for me, is taking the shields off of the corners of the bumper. That terrible nut design loves to just thrash the shit out of the holes in the plastic bumper.

  • @peterodriguez5636
    @peterodriguez5636 ปีที่แล้ว

    I’m Sorry but the Jeep Wrangler is a cheap ride!
    If you have to take this to a Mechanic to replace the fog lights as you have done you have proven my point!!!
    # 1
    The Fog lights should be in a housing like the regular front lights for water prof!
    #2
    All this plastic pieces you remove should be held by 3 bolts & the nuts in the bumpers should be able to put a wrench on the nuts
    #3
    A $30 dollar bulb should not cost $100+ to have your bulb installed in a shop!!!
    #4
    Jeep should be embarrassed for making a cheap car & them we repair the cheap materials they have installed!!!
    You were very good at removing & Installing it

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  ปีที่แล้ว

      My factory fog lights lasted the 4 years I had my JL without fogging or going out, and I even had that plastic backing panel removed the whole time. They were plenty water-resistant. 😅You really don't NEED to take this to a mechanic to change out the fog lights either, just a small set of tools and a little patience. Thanks for watching! -Zach -Zach

    I wish i never clicked this video just wasted 20 mins taking all the splashguards out and as i was about to take the bumper off i noticed the pannels behind the foglights.... Wixh were accessible all along and from there you can take the foglights off... No need to go further than that , big fucking L
