I work with polystyrene sometimes. I think this is a stupid video. Calling it equal to silicone is very wrong. They are totally different chemicals. By dissolving expanded polystyrene you break the polymer bonds. So there will be some non-polymerised styrene in the solution. Some of that will vaporise. Styrene damages nerves, such as the central nervous system, and the brain. It can also cause cancer. Handling it with bare fingers and getting it on your skin is stupid. Gasoline is also toxic. At least use a suitable type of gloves and a respiration protection mask. Better, use a proper glue with documented specifications, and a Material Safety Data Sheet.
Haha, you get more of that (and PFAS, etc) in your drinking water Stateside, than would penetrate the moisture barrier (certainly enhanced by years of this type of work) of this fellow's fingertips. When folks don't have that ubiquitous big-box choice, this is how they live. As for respirators, I never saw his face, so how would you suss this without making a potentially incorrect assumption? Adequate ventilation would mitigate serious risk, but thanks so much for your obviously genuine concern for the corporate state approved materials, so regularly proven trustworthy safe, reliable and carcinogen free.

Kůže bude trpět minimálně odmaštěním. Pokud máte známého lékaře, zeptejte se ho. Patrně to lepit bude, některé povrchy jistě velmi dobře... ale zrovna na kanystru bych byl velmi opatrný... tam tomu při pravidelném používání dlouhou životnost nedávám.. ale jako nouzové řešení , jistě dobré.

wrong; you do not break the polymer bonds when you dissolve it in hydrocarbon (petrol). learn some basic chemistry
