Uh, Liquid metal +clock of Omens is infinite WITHOUT paradise mantle so long as you have one untapped artifact when you tutor the clock. Five treasures sac for clock, tap clock and artifact dwarf to untap dwarf, use the treasure tapping the dwarf made and dwarf to untap dwarf, rinse and repeat. Altar of the Brood for infinite mill Edit: paradise mantle is an excellent way to tap dwarves without combat though, tap for 1 Mana and use the Mana to equip paradise mantle to another dwarf until you are out of dwarves to tap
Yup, you're right. This is something I did not realize until Aaron pointed it out earlier. It's a pretty busted combo, and I've been considering actually taking Clock of Omens out of the deck because most games have turned into get to 5 treasures, tutor out Clock and win.
@@8thPlaceDave The other particularly broken combo is dockside+cloudstone curio which can make infinite untapped treasures for all sorts of shenanigans. My personal goal for my Magda deck is to get mycosynth lattice out along with a blade of selves and attach it to a Hellkite Tyrant and proceed to take literally all permanents on board EDIT: Also I think it'd be really hard to make this deck extremely fast, and a personal favorite addition to my deck no one else is probably going to run is salvaging station, which primary use is going to be recurring tomod's crypt so I can mill people out. I also personally like maze of ith in this deck as well as valakut, the molten pinnacle. Blood moon is another solid addition. I also run valakuts awakening and winds of change in case I have something in my hand I need to tutor like spine of ip sah. Unfortunately, I don't have a mox Diamond or metalworker but I really wish I did. I don't really run as much targeted removal as you, rather redirects and copy's like deflecting swat and fork, but yeah we have similar lists otherwise, I should say thank you for that idol of oblivion suggestion though I have really been looking for ways to draw that doesn't require me to pitch everything.

I agree Maze of Ith and Valakut would be good and when I want to power up the deck a bit more those are some nice inclusions. I didn't know that Salvaging Station existed, but it looks like a really cool card and I'm interested to see what kind of things it can do!

For this one... probably not, haha. It's a really good deck, but my problem with it is that it is actually too good. It basically combos out the same way every game on turn 3 or 4, which is cool if I'm just looking to win, but in terms of having fun it's not the best choice for me. I could power it down, but at that point I'd probably rather just play a different deck :P

Just need to initially tap an artifact dwarf and a treasure (which will create a treasure) to untap the same artifact dwarf then tap the dwarf and the treasure it created to untap the dwarf and repeat! Infinite treasures for tutors!
So I have a Magda deck sitting at around $660 as of 2/27/22. The main win is Hellkite Tyrant, obviously. And to make sure I'm unstoppable, Darksteel Forge. Can't lose the treasures to a Cleansing Nova! And Academy Manufacturer lets you snowball like hell. I also run like 6 fetches (including Fabled Passage and Prismatic Vista), and Scroll Rack to dig fast.
Actually not at all! I find that I don't really need much card draw because with Magda I can just tutor whatever I need out of my deck rather than try to draw something good. As long as I have lands and a couple of dwarves then I'm pretty much good to go.

@@josehaya6362 Yup Magda definitely has a target on her back. Fortunately she only costs 1R to begin with, so it's not a huge deal to recast her a couple of times. I never thought of playing Possessed Portal, but it seems like it could be pretty cool. That's something I probably wouldn't tutor out unless I was in a very good position, though :P
It could work I think but after playing this deck a bunch, I feel like it tends to be more of a fast combo deck than a dwarf tribal deck. I want to play a 1-drop dwarf on turn 1 and then Magda on turn 2, and on turn 3 it is possible to kind of combo off already, so I'm not sure how helpful Seven Dwarves would be in that situation. Definitely could be good in a more thematic take on the deck though.
Ah yeah that's a card that I bought a copy of to put in, but never actually tried playing. It is used as a way to tap your dwarves at will and do a bit of damage, right? That does seem useful to me, but it didn't seem like quite enough to warrant playing for me. I could be missing something though.
@@8thPlaceDave yea the damage isn't whats important. It is an enchantment though, so harder to get rid of than vehicles, that turns into creatures when crewed. Also, it is so bad itself, that people seldom wanna use their removal on it ^^
I have both in my Magda deck. I don't remember the original cEDH deckbuilder, but the Clock/Magda/artifact dwarf combo is fittingly named "Mecha Magda." Tap Clock and artifact dwarf, untap artifact dwarf for infinite. Crack tapped treasures to first get Maskwood Nexus, then proceed to pull all of your creatures and artifacts and dump on the battlefield. Give all the creatures buffs and haste, and this will close the game; otherwise, just get Reckless Firrweaver, then spam Treasures and you win that way.
Yup Maskwood is great in this deck and I added it after making the video. I hadn't though about getting Eldrazi with it, but that does sound pretty sweet!
Use universal automaton, you can go infinite for tapped treasure tokens
The crack the tapped treasures to dump ALL your permanents onto the battlefield.

Great deck tech! I'm curious if you'd post an update? So many amazing treasure cards have been printed since this vid came out.

Very well explained video! I'd recommend metallic mimic as it's a 2 drop that can buff your dwarfs coming in and it can combo with clock of omen!

Yeah both of those seem pretty great to me. I don't think either of them existed when I made this deck tech, but I'd definitely consider them :)
7 copies of Seven Dwarves with dwarven recruiter could be pretty good.

Spine of ish sah might be better then meteor golem becuase it shuffles bakc into the deck when it dies.
