New subscriber. Been having a lot of fun with my SFAR despite some issues I documented in some of my videos. If it’s running good…it’s such a nice piece.
@@SheriffMattOller the typical gas issues everyone’s had which a replacement gas regulator fixed but also one of the bolt ejectors failed causing cases to jam. It’s back up and running again. Have around 400 rounds through it.
@@SheriffMattOller a lot of folk have had great luck, but many haven’t. I enjoy the challenge of getting stuff working, but many don’t have the patience. It’s truly a great rifle platform and I think Ruger will continue to improve upon it. I have some things I’d like to see done a little differently that might help. Main one is their gas regulator truly needs additional settings for folk like myself that run suppressed/unsuppressed and want to run a wide variety of ammo. It’s close now but I still may swap out the gas block later down the road. Of course I get the comments to just buy the POF version of a lightweight .308 AR, but where’s the fun in that. Not to mention a much lighter wallet 🤣
Good review. Appreciate the opinion and demo. Thank you for your service. Looking forward to higher round count critique and accuracy tests. I am very pleased with my 16". Just under 300 rounds. No issues on setting 3 for 250+ and the rest on setting #2 have functioned without issue. Others have had cycling issues on setting #2. Subscribed!
I like mine so far. I have not put a lot of round through it or group yet but I have shot some pretty hot rounds and it's a smooth shooting rifle for being so light. I do get some gas when shooting it suppressed.
I appreciate your honest review. I had been interested in this firearm previously but there are many reviews that show and talk about problems with reliability. Have you had any failures?
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Follow Ruger's instructions and you should have a nice rifle. Love the small frame!
Good video..good stuff
Love Ruger Products!

What issues have you had? Only about 50 rounds thru mine, but it's run ok.

Interesting. I'll be curious to see how mine holds up.

@ChristianGrest yeah. POF is good stuff, but too pricey for my liking

Thanks. As time goes on, I'll tune it up a bit and coyote hunt with it. It'll take a bit but, the 500 round mark should come pretty easily
