The Marlin or as I have called mine - the "Martyn" is great fun to fly - like you I took the Landing gear off - and hand launch it .... Just love the sound of a EDF in the Morning Ian - Just love it...
Ian we have a few club members that fly Martyn's. (I call them that because of Martyn Lea, Lol) They are great planes. Very well flown my friend! The acro was sweet, and the new maneuver you're doing is called a "Reverse Half Cuban Eight" to be technical about it. Most call it a Reverse Half Cuban...if you do it again going the opposite direction...you've completed a full "Reverse Cuban Eight". What makes it a reverse is that you climb at a 45 degree angle, roll inverted, and pull it through to level. A normal Half Cuban would start from level and do a bit more than a half loop, then roll out on the 45 degree down line from the loop, and pull level. Proud of you for trying new things buddy. Fun isn't it!
A fantastic flight Ian, that hammer 🔨 head roll was very brave but you performed it perfectly, I do love jets but I don't think I'm ready for that yet...jeff.
