- Hi all
In today's vlog, I'm sharing my recent makes.
I've made:
Pattern:
Celeste frock by Lydia Naomi: www.lydianaomi...

Pattern:
Elskan batwing dress by Charlotte Kan: charlottekan.c...
Fabric:

It was bamboo, not modal or tencel! :) Sorry I didn't get a photo of this!

I talk about Simplicity 9701: www.sewdirect....
And finally my top is:
Pattern:
Freya top by Tilly and the Buttons' Make It Simple book. A more accessible and size inclusive alternative is the Zebra top by Style Arc, which is slightly less fitted but looks really nice (I want to try this top!):

Wow, your jersey makes are stunning Nadia, and I love, love, love, your perseverance and how it’s paid off. You’re looking so striking in your slinky choices, and now you’ve sent me to the Lydia Naomi rabbit-hole, I’d never really paid attention to her patterns before! Lovely of you to give me a mention, I do appreciate it, thank you, and am looking forward to seeing you on the 1st! Susan x
Thank you so much, Susan. I really appreciate your lovely comment. I’m very much looking forward to seeing you next week and sewing together. 🥰❤️
Some fabulous makes, I particularly like the Lydia Naomi dress - it fits you beautifully. And that fabric for your Freya top is gorgeous and will be so versatile xx
Hi Vicky. Thanks so much. I’ve already worn the Lydia Naomi dress and I love it although I feel quite exposed without a waist seam! I’ll have to wear a belt! 😆❤️
Loving the monochrome theme of your knit fabric makes. The batwing look was my favourite 😻 and thank you so much for the shout out 🥰🫶🏻
Thanks so much, Julie - i appreciate you watching and commenting. I love your channel so you are very welcome. ❤️ I hope we will meet one day!
Some lovely makes Nadia - you've certainly been very busy. Particularly like your Celeste frock, you've got the fit spot on and you look fabulous in it,
Thanks so much, Margaret. I’m pleased with my makes! I appreciate you watching and your kind comment. 😊❤️
Thank you a bunch and sincere greetings from US New Mexico. You are a big inspiration to me. I love to watch your calm but juicy talk about your makes. Upon your mentioning Lydia Naomy, I looked her up and immediately liked her. I've already finished her Mitten Frock. It is great !!!! The detail on the shoulder seams is so pretty. Now I am thinking of making Celeste frock as a longer top version. You rock girl.
Hiya. Thanks so much for sending me such a lovely comment - I really appreciate your kind words. I’m so pleased you liked the dress too! 🥰😊😍I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. It’s so nice to hear where you are watching from! ❤️
Love that sparkly Jersey fabric 😊😊
Thanks for watching and commenting, Annette. I love that fabric too!
Fabulous dresses. Will see you Wednesday at the sewcial x
Thank you! I’m pleased to hear you are going too - I’m looking forward to seeing you then! ❤️ x
Wow, love your style. Very chic. 😀 do you think you had a bit of a colour palette going on when you chose those. 😂 I'm wondering what those exposed seams would look like with an overlocker flat locking seam???? That actually might not be the right name but in my head it works. 🤣
Thanks so much, Jill. 🥰🥰🥰 I can’t help myself! I love wearing black/white/grey, especially in the winter. My planned red cardigan will hopefully bring some colour to my outfits! 👍 I know what you mean as my running leggings have that type of seam. I think o need to invest in a coverstitch or I thought I could topstitch the overlocked seam down. Or just topstitch the seam to bring out the style lines?! 😊
