Have made Bob and Barry. Not sure if it is because I have chunky calves, but the hem of the Barry often stays on the widest part of my calf after I stand up. Love both of them!

I send my best wishes. My dad had heart surgery three years ago for an aortic aneurysm and the installation of an artificial valve. The recovery was a little more complicated due to the pandemic, but a year after that they allowed him to have knee surgery as his heart was better. It takes time to recover, but after that it will be great! Sending hugs!

So thankful Ben’s condition was identified in time to have it repaired. You’ve made so many beautiful garments! Off topic.. the Jane Austen cross stitch that you bought.. I had been obsessing over it and I finally found a complete kit at a reasonable price. It’s set back in a safe place until I have the time to get the party started. 😉.

Newcastle is such a lovely city. A travel sewing kit is always handy - I picked one up in a hotel we stayed in and it lives in my bag. Your toile of the Vogue dress is absolutely gorgeous.
