Which kinda makes it even sadder on Sarah's part because you can really tell how much she cares about Bonnie as well as the others. I mean, she made a whole care package for her!

I dunno. I get the impression that, at least at the start, Bonnie and Rochelle were both pretty open to the idea of having another friend. I think that Rochelle grew to enjoy her revenge too much and Bonnie became far too narcissistic, but I don't think that they were always users. I think Nancy was always a very unhappy and damaged person, so I find it harder to judge, but I think even she had some level of affection for Sarah at the beginning.

True, before I saw this I thought that Bonnie got cured because of her wish in that blood ritual or because of that cleansing Nancy did during their slumber party, but this settles that it was Sarah that did it, and she was the one who braided that bully’s hair in Rochelle’s and none of Nancy’s spells had worked before Sarah showed because she was unworthy

I love all the deleted scenes, but if I had to keep one, it HAS to be this one!! They give Sarah credit for healing Bonnie, but we see Nancy trying to heal Bonnie and so that ALWAYS confused me. This shows that Sarah really DID heal Bonnie!

    • @agenttheater5

They both tried to help, but only Sarah was able to do it. Maybe that's another reason why Nancy resented Sarah, she'd been Bonnie's friend first but Sarah was able to help her. Though I guess in a way that makes Nancy's views on friendship kind of selfish because it wasn't enough for her to just be happy for her friend, she sees her being nice to Rochelle and Bonnie when no-one else was as a reason why they owe her something or why she gets to boss them around. And I think Sarah did kind of try to bind Nancy because she was worried about what would happen to Nancy as well as being worried about what Nancy would do, but Nancy couldn't see the concern only that a potential threat.

What I always found interesting about this movie is that Bonnies character was always pretty. when she eventually gets healed, the only thing that changes is her scars, and with that her confidence. I know its probably not intended, but i really liked how the movie displays beauty and how it affects mental health and insecurities. Bonnie was never an ugly monster, she just thought she was.

    • @American-Zero

Bonnie was already beautiful...she was just insecure because she had burn scars all over her body, she thought she was some kind of monster. But when she used magic to take her scars away she really did become a monster as she allowed her newfound popularity to go to her head and she became shallow and narcissistic. As soon as she renounced her power she went back to covering up her body. Wonder if she still has the personality she did before.

I never really thought of it like that. Nancy was completely messed up in the head, the only reason Bonnie and Rochelle followed her around was because they are afraid of her like everyone else in school was. Sarah on the other hand was kind and good and they liked her because she was nice to everyone..and that pissed Nancy off. I love this scene bc it shows how Sarah helped all of the girls and showed how caring and what a good friend she was to them then they sadly all turn on her bc they didn't need her anymore then tried to kill her off. Betrayed her in the worst way! then once its all over and Nancy is put away Bonnie and Rochelle come crawling back to her once they lose all their power's and Sarah pretty much tells them to fuck off in the end bc it was obvious they were just trying to use her again to get their powers back and what made them think she would ever give them the time of day again after almost killing her. Like I'm thinking Sarah had a convo with MANON, like she did (before she defeated Nancy, she let her know she had a convo with MANON and Nancy was in deep SHXT for abusing her powers given." I think Nancy had a chat with MANON and they decided to bind the other girls powers, to where they can't operate without Sarah, all the while Sara remains powerful...

I think it's the biggest part of why she got healed, they all had to do something, (Sarah braided the blonde bitch's hair to Rochelle's) but havent you noticed that just after the ceremony, despite Bonnie still had her scars, she looked prettier, she made her hair nicer and all when she was all greasy haired and mopey before it. I guess Sarah helped her on taking care of herself because she already was pretty despite the scars by showing her the magazine ant beauty products.

It’s sad cause I think Sarah actually was genuine and wanted to be friends with these girls and I feel like Nancy never even really knew what it meant like to really have love for your friends like really besties do for one another. She wasn’t given the love she should’ve had especially from her mother and seeing her mother in an abusive relationship made it worse. It sucks sometimes I wish things ended differently in this movie.

  • @adrienneleigh6962

This is another example of a great scene the producers cut and it hurts the film. When Sarah says Bonnie used to be a nice girl in the Nancy’s ‘In or Out’ red car scene later in the film, this scene was a huge example of just how sweet Bonnie was & how crippling her burn scars were to her self-esteem.
This scene would have fit right before the morning scene where we see Bonnie in the hospital to have her bandages removed. It’s so silly for them to remove this scene. It was a bonding moment between these two characters. Also, Neve is so fragile in this scene. It’s heart-breaking.
Sarah is a natural witch. It’s another fine example of her abilities. They really need to recut this film. It deserves an extended director’s cut. All
four girls are incredible. The studio was antsy about the ratings board. The Craft ended up with an R rating anyways, so they should have left it as they wrote it.
Almost half of the film was changed, or deleted. Trivia look for scenes where Bonnie is dressed sexy with hair and makeup done and revealing clothes, in the film, awkwardly placed in scenes before she has had her surgery. It shows how much this film was rearranged in post-production.
In early scenes pre-surgery Bonnie is always covered up in layers, with greasy hair. In the theatrical cut, because so many changes were made to the final film, several sequences intended for the second half of the film, but were re-edited into the first half.
Also the awkward pic Sarah had of Chris for no reason was taken by Bonnie in the script, except it was taken at school, like the Laura Lizzy hair pull, not him walking in the woods somewhere, which made no sense. Watch for the scene. It’s so badly added. Where in the world did she get his pic? 🤣

Goddess of Healing, let it begin,
    Healing without, healing within,
Healing her spirit, healing her skin.
Goddess of Healing, let it begin...
I totally, absolutely, 100% agree with all those who say that this scene should have been INCLUDED. It would have better emphasised how Sarah was truly a healer and nurturer at heart, as well as how bad and even irrational Bonnie's betrayal later on truly was. I mean, I have read and heard things about Sarah being the true antagonist of this film, given the dramatic contrast between her and Nancy's respective families and homes, how she disapproved of Bonnie's behaviour after Bonnie was healed, how she was appalled by Nancy's killing Chris (who had tried to rape her (Sarah)), and of course, how she respectively dealt with Bonnie, Rochelle, and Nancy in the end. I would say that Sarah is not perfect, and perhaps she should have handled and said things differently, but what about how her so-called coven sisters had treated her? Tried to do her and perhaps even her family?

  • @KevenTalks

They were smart to cut this scene.
It shows that Sarah is the most powerful witch in the coven
Which would undercut the narrative later on in the film that Sarah would be intimidate and afraid of Nancy.

I like this scene, except that Bonnie is doing the exact same thing as when she was being treated by her doctor so that was repetitive. it's a nice scene but I would have liked the dialog to be a bit more original and genuine. The part where they go "Sarah you can make it all better again! - No, I can't" was already covered in other scenes.

They say Sarah was the one who healed Bonnie but we don't see it in the film. So this scene makes it clear Sarah was the one who healed her. What I don't get is why do Bonnie and Rochelle see the spells coming back to them in theeefold if Sarah did it all for them. Rochelle says Sarah made Laura's hair fall out because she pulled it out and braided it into hers. But Rochelle later see her own hair falling out when she looks in the mirror. She even sees her reflection looking away from her as Laura is crying over her baldness. But apparently Sarah did it.

Bonnie was not a selfish monster who only wanted Sarah for her power. Sarah herself used magic for her own beneffit and it backfired. We all crave desperatly for something, we all have some hopeless dream we would take great risks, even of hurting others if that would make ouro dream come true. That's just human. None of these girls is a monster. They are what many of us would become for a chance of grabing our most desperate hopes and dreams.

I don't get the people who deleted scenes from this movie...all of them explain so much about the plot and the characters personality towards one another and how they think about themselves. All except Sarah were turned, all because they couldn't face each other's problems. I fill like if Nancy was a bit less crazy with power, the rest of the group would've been able to help her and they would've been a great team. Alas the friendship was ruined and all paid the price...still a good movie tho

Sarah visits the hospital where Bonnie is staying and brings gifts. Bonnie is upset because the doctors do not know how to heal her scars. She asks Sarah to help her. Sarah does not want the pressure of trying to fix the scars in case she makes things worse, but Bonnie convinces her. Sarah casts a spell, asking the Goddess of Healing to heal Bonnie on the outside and inside. As Sarah presses her fingers onto Bonnie's back, Bonnie says it hurts. Then the window opens.
